Gran Turismo 6 Season 11 Pre-Season
Posted on Friday 28th October at 10:41 AM
The Gran Turismo 6 league just keeps on ticking around. Ready to await drivers for the eleventh season of this championship is the kicking, screaming, brilliant Honda-HSV010. Producing phenomenal grip, phenomenal traction and quick power output, this car should produce some high speed battles. For these high speed battles to take place, we need some circuits that are going to produce some great racing.

Beginning on the 16th of October, the drivers will fight for supremacy on the great Australian icon, Mount Panorama. For an Australian League, there isn’t much better of a location to kick off! Following Bathurst is a GT Original Favorite, Deep Forest. Drivers will need to sneak their way through the constantly changing directions of the circuit before they attempt that daunting pass under brakes into Turn 1. Silverstone National hosts the sprint round in Round 3, followed by some shocking weather expected for Twin Ring Motegi in Round 4.

Drivers either love it or hate it, but regardless, they will need to race Fuji for 54 laps in Round 5. This race in particular should throw up some great strategy differences between drivers as they fight to keep their front left tyre alive. Speaking of keeping alive, the streets of Monte Carlo will host the penultimate round of the championship. Who can add their name to a list of greats who have taken victory around here? The season closes off around the fabulous Cape Ring full circuit, where perhaps some new champions will be crowned.

Three Divisions are lining up for Season 11, with a lot of eyes placed on Division 1 and that ever allusive new championship winner. Holding off any new champions is of course the ever dominant, ever consistent and forever unrelenting Warrior2167. With names like Aussie_Nicko, Bryan_F, B-SpecBob and Mint_GTR behind him, Warrior isn’t going to have an easy season. But the question remains, can he be beaten?

Division Two hosts some very familiar faces to do battle over the next 7 weeks. Amongst them are the reigning Division 3 Champion, Emmo46 and the man behind all the tables the site couldn’t do without; DRZ-Hatfield. However who the fight up front will be between is anybody’s guess right now. New member Jay-R51 has a few people’s attention, but will he be able to live up to the hype?

Division Three hosts the biggest grid of them all with 17 drivers ready to fight it out. Bluemoon, Cola1001, adronaught, incey? Will they be this seasons champions? Will a newer driver to the site rise to the occasion and claim victory in their very first season like has been done only a few times before? Division Three hosts a major attendance rate generally, so there should be some fantastic reports coming out of this Division about the wheel to wheel action which has become an expectation of this field!

With there being a major unknown about Gran Turismo Sports release currently, drivers are currently showing their true loyalty and dedication to this series as they continue to show up week in and week out. This site surely has some of the most dedicated drivers to a game ever, to be able to produce grids so complete for so long is a credit to both the drivers and the moderators for making this possible.

Who will end up on top throughout the Divisions is an uncertainty to many, could we see a new Division 1 Champion? Could we see a first time Champion in Division 2? Division 3 is going to be crazy with such a large field! Where do you look when there is so much going on is anyone’s guess! Round One at Bathurst cannot come around sooner!

Until next time…
