Good to see RBR at least sniffing at the Mercs, quickest of anyone on the SS tire and .6 off of Hamilton on the US.
the times currently being posted are of no relevence. theyre just feeling out the track and i would say not running close to full power at all. we wont know the real capabilities of the teams until qually
From my seat at Turn 2 Stroll definitely looks way out of his depth, he runs wide every single lap, rather than the tight line which is much faster. However I can't knock him for not trying, at least he has some sort of potential. Palmer on the other hand just isn't up to Formula One at all, the speed Hulkenberg takes through that section is on another level. Red Bulls look very unbalanced but fast, both drivers really struggling for consistency with an understeering car.
Seb!! What a weekend that was, simply crazy, I cannot wait until next year! Was great to catch up with @Spidey_11 and @Beau_Albert over the weekend, sucks we couldn't catch up with a few more. Definitely something to plan for next year!
Yep, one of the better ones i've been too! Meeting Gene Haas and Guenther Steiner, Spidey and also the guy who got me into SimRacing; Jono. Sitting on the exit of the pits was incredible in the race. We all went nuts when Seb leapfrogged Lewis. Not to mention Fernando, Esteban and Nico taking it Three Wide! The new cars are a spectacular watch, however it still lacks the overall excitment F1 had just a decade ago. 2010 was still my favorite, but this one is up there
Didn't go to the GP but got to meet Jono Friday night which was cool, definitely going to consider going to it next year. The race was a little boring, Well a lot boring the only thing people could be happy about is Mercedes being beaten 110%.
Ah yes, meeting @seth123 and @Petros1ns at Crown was another highlight, though I think the Heineken Star is firmly imprinted onto my retinas now.
what an advert! its promoting its product by having the guy not drink it. reckon they wanted it that way? or did the responsible drinking Nazis get involved?
isn't it like a government advert for not drinking and driving but partnered by the beer manufacturer?
found this: http://adage.com/article/global-news/heineken/305708/ so it doesn't involve the government, but since they are sponsoring F1, it is like a response to critics
