my suggested track list: nurb nord suzuka 2014 100% wet london sprint (new) sierra random weather ascari enduro matterhorn dristelen (new) cape ring periphery (new) as you can see, thinking to have a 100% wet round in addition to the random weather round
Nurb Nord Sierra Ascari Bathurst Adding Bathurst so probably my favorite four tracks are there, so any more input would be greedy
If the rocket were to win it'd probably need a very unique track list. I'm also super duper in favour of a full wet round and I LOVE Suzuka in the rain. Dunno how I'll cope on road tyres so it should be interesting. I suspect due to road tyres being in effect the weather round doesn't actually have a tyre strategy to play? You just bash around on whatever tyres the season allows in whatever conditions that come.
Tracks confirmed to work with the Rocket with stock gearbox: Laguna Seca Autumn Ring (all variants) (Mini layouts yet to be used) Côte d'Azur Tsukuba Streets of Willow (yet to be used) Cape Ring North Silverstone Stowe (yet to be used) Brands Hatch (all variants) Silverstone National London (both variants) (yet to be used) GT Arena (both variants) (yet to be used) Eiger Nordwand Short
Nope, the Rocket is most certainly a road car. It has never entered any racing competition. You can drive it anywhere in Europe if you so wish.
1. Apricot Hill Raceway (where the trials for divisions are held, FRS/BRZ/86 could be a fitting circuit for being possibly the final season of GT6) 2. Twin RIng Motegi East 3. Grand Valley East (Sprint) (Reverse??) 4. Nurburgurgring GP D (Night/Weather) (Like a mini version of the 24hr race, smaller circuit with weather and light changes) 5. Sierra (Enduro) (10+ laps of it) or for those who prefer something shorter, Tsukuba Circuit for many many laps (reminder of the Enduro event in the MX5's back in GT4 or whatever it was) 6. Circuito de Madrid 7. Laguna Seca
With the rocket on SH confirmed as season car, make sure to get your track suggestions in! will tally after Sunday night!
Okay, so the rocket with only 47 made, with room for 1.75 passengers, wins as the road car for the season . I think the top speed of 215kmph has been recognized, so obviously track selection is reduced by more than 50%. But has anyone bothered to try the rocket in the wet? Being so light I am sure it will be a nightmare. Unable to stop or turn it due to lack of contact on the road, it will be very similar to soap in a bathtub.
Just allow Comfort softs for the rain round only, if SH is totally undriveable in wet condtions. Essentially how we allow inters and full wets for the rain round normally.
with the rocket now selected: nurb nord is probably not a good choice due to the long straight at the end does the rocket top out at suzuka? there may be a couple top out points at sierra... although might not be on the limiter for very long shorter tracks would be good for this car: tsukuba laguna stowe streets of willow brands hatch indy red bull short autumn ring eiger trial mountain
Meanwhile in the V8 era of F1 the cars were topping out on almost every straight with DRS... Surely the perfect track isn't going to be eliminated for something like a short gearbox...
