good chance it will be there.....hope to get on with you tonight at some stage....see what happens with GTS
I took the FB for a race around Spa last night and it was great fun. You will touch the limiter at the end of Kemmel straight but those long flowing corners in 4th gear are amazing
I'm assuming it would have been easily flat through Eau Rouge? That would eliminate using KERS up Kemmel (since it will top out anyway). But it could be useful either coming out of the hairpin, try to make a pass before Eau Rouge, or between the chicane and the hairpin or up the hill into Blanchimont. Potential for some great battles there.
Yes flat through Eau Rouge, although if you don't get your line right you can lose momentum even though you aren't lifting which could be all you need for a crack into Les Combes. Its also flat through Pouhon in 6th gear but get the line wrong and you will be vulnerable into campus.
If there's one thing I don't like in this world it's open wheelers BUT From what we tested before season 7 my vote would have to go the FB, the gulf was stale and the 78 felt quite unpredictable
I'm gonna play Devil's advocate and say Formula A now. I took it around a few circuits tonight and it is soooooo much fun. Crazy acceleration, great top speed, awesome handling. It takes a little getting used to after the FB but holy crapballs it's heaps better.
Thank god somebody else loves FA. For the record it's my fav of all time - spent over 100 hrs racing that baby
Good luck getting that across the line lol. Fb is pushing the limit for a lot of people but fa would be to hard for alot of drivers to control and the racing probably wouldn't be to close.
yea yea more than happy to go FA if people want. i wouldve suggested it bu i figured it would be too fast for some
I find the FA easier to control than the FB. I don't see why racing would be any less close in the FA than in the FB. Racing can be close in any car.
Yep. Plus the FA hugs the track a lot better, it doesn't suffer the same crappy front end mechanical grip as the FB.
Yeah if theres anything to critisize about the FB its exactly that. FA is leaps ahead in front end grip
