    And im debuting my new setup this week. Not real happy with the big screen at the moment (as per a previous post, my usual, better TV didnt fit the stand). The Soniq leaves a lot to be desired in picture quality. Or maybe its just too big for how close I'm now sitting. But heres a look at it.

    Frustrating with teleporting cars. I pited basically straight away to avoid any accidents. Ruined my overall racing against anyone but still ok result having to pit extra time.
    To clarify im in no way having a dig at anyone. Lag happens, for all i no i may be contributing aswell. Just wanna race with a big as grid as possible.

    Yeah i was host and i had some laggy moments before it cost me my race. I checked my speeds and they were 96/18 mbps. But dunno, maybe my ping was :):):):)house. Not sure.

    I went out for qualifying on the mediums but ran wide at dunlop and so had to abandon that lap.
    My only other option was the soft tyre so I went out and to my surprise, I took provisional pole! I couldn't believe it.
    I nervously waited for the on-screen prompts to end qualifying and when I saw the 'Qualifying Complete' icon I thought I had done it. I saved my lap video and a few seconds later I hear a car go passed the garage on the main straight and notice @Motors560 pop up into pole... so close lol

    So lining up on the grid for my first ever front row start, and what a track to do it. Inside line heading into T1 at suzuka!

    I got a good start with motors seeming to have more wheelspin, but I assume he put it into Rich because as soon as I gained, he started to pull further ahead. He took the lead but he ran wide at T2. I didn't manage to get all the way passed so I left room and he got by at T3.

    @Bryan_F retirement brought out the VSC and motors had a much better restart than me which allowed him to gap me easily and @razor4797 took full advantage diving down the inside at T15 however my better exit from the casino triangle allowed me back into 2nd at the end of the straight.

    The next lap razor tried the outside at T1 but couldn't pull it off.

    Lap 5 I came in for the Hard compound

    Lap 15 razor made the move stick before T1 and we lapped @Jurassic Mark at Dunlop. Razor had the rear out slightly exiting spoon which allowed me to get by.

    Lap 16 I pitted for my final set of Hards

    Lap 17 relapped mark at 200R

    Lap 19 VSC again

    A close restart on lap 20 with razor jumping a few moments too early

    Lap 21 on the main straight razor made the pass and started to pull away

    I tried to push to close the gap for a last attempt but only just grabbed DRS to cross the line for a consecutive podium!!

    Happy with a 2nd place finish.
    Had an almighty battle with @Hatfield throughout sections of the race, only just managed to stay ahead at the end. Great racing there, close and fair.
    Apart from that fight, not really much else happened.
    Well done to @Motors560 for a completely dominant round.
    Only 13 points behind @its-benny-racer now with 3 rounds to go :sneaky:

    Qualifying was a success with my 5th pole of the season. @Hatfield you were so close mate. To be honest i actually felt slightly guilty as i crossed the line but that's how it goes sometimes. Also just as a disclaimer for everyone when "Qualifying is complete" people can still be on flying laps so probably best to wait until everyone has finished their lap. I felt bad because everyone was congratulating Hat on getting pole only for me to swoop in and take it off him. Also slightly cool getting pole here again as Suzuka is the track i got my first RaceOnOz pole back in GT6 last year.

    Hat was able to get a better launch off the line and we went side by side into the first corner, In my attempt to leave him room i nearly ran myself off the track but was able to hold it round the outside and get by the next corner. After that not much happened was able to get a big jump over everyone on the first VSC and i just drove away to victory for my 3rd win.

    Just as a heads up i know my editing skills suck but thought i'd play around and see what i could do in the end i ended up with this mess haha.

    Gonna be tough to claw in the gap to Seth with only 3 races left...

    New game seriously does look impressive with the official F1 intros, pretty sure the last time we had that was F1 2002...
