honestly, moving aside from all the banter, F1 2017 is a great game. But I am assuming it isn't your cup of tea, judging by your previous comments on season car choice, I pick you as a primarily tin top fan (not that there's anything wrong with that)
I wonder if some people are a bit afraid to try PC2, they might not want to go back to arcade like cars with tyres that behave like they're painted on.
To be honest, I haven't played PC2. I did play PC1 online for a few weeks (with some other ROOZers) on PC but did not enjoy it. Sure it looked good and sounded good but most cars were so difficult to push and when I did finally find some enjoyment battling with someone, a little mistake with the lightest contact equalled 2 cars under-steering into the sand stuck together. So I will use my past experiences with GT or PC to make decisions. For GT, I have enjoyed it immensely which is why I pre-ordered GT Sport. For PC, I will need to wait and see what happens with leagues here before making another purchase.
Just so you know @Hatfield , the physics in PC2 is completely different to PC1. Sure there are still bugs, but it's a completely different kettle of fish and more importantly, the magnetising effect is all but gone as well.
Unfortunately, AC were waaaayyy too late to the table to even make it a worthy league contender (notably lack of private lobbies upon release). I'm not sure on what updates they've done since I last played it, but the way they had things set up makes it pretty lacking for what we've been able to enjoy as a league game. Things like lap details, timing, etc. I guess it makes it more of a pure racing environment, but wasn't really my flavour. Physics wise, is still a cut above GT6, but it was also quite different from PC from the few cars I drove (could also have been FFB/wheel settings).
Yep played it way back in early 2016 However yes I've played NFS Shift 4 on PC at a mate's house and I'll definitely be waiting until it hits the bargain bin before picking it up on PS4. Enjoyable driving experience yes but far too many bugs to speak of to warrant dropping $100 on. A big step up from the clusterf**k of Shift 3 but I'm giving it a miss until I feel it worthy to race leagues on.
You’re acting like the worlds missing out on a scientific breakthrough lol The world does nothing but suit itself, no ones ever going to do hobby based activities that don’t really suit themselves.
What are you on about? That was awesome! Good to see you can experience those close battles without having to worry about the same lag you had in the early GT6 days
You would be correct on the tin tops hat or as I call them "cars" lol but more so I really in joy cars that aren't all grip and good and more of a fan of vintage/classic racecars and even some road cars and I prefer Sim racing over Arcade racing that's why I bought a steering wheel
Yep, after 2 weeks, AC physics and feel are deffinately way better IMO., just lacks a couple of room setting options. On topic tho, if this has multiple divs, and is Sunday night still, I might be in for this, but will try the game before deciding, as the depth of settings on PC2 is insanely good, plus lots of divs
