Car Discussion GT Sport Season 1

I think while we’re a bit slim pickings with tracks, we’re really spoilt for choice for race cars to choose, I have not found one yet that is poor to drive. Lets face it while 150 or so cars might not be huge, we’re not going to get anywhere near that amount of seasons.

Re Bryan - I was having an absolute blast in the Cayman Gr.4. Nimble car and great on the brakes.
911 RSR was solid too in the 30 lap Lake Maggiore event, but the online shenanigans in the Cayman with some mates solidified it to me as a great little car.
Re Jono - You're right, nothing is particularly terrible yet, the stock tunes seem to make most cars pretty ok. Only road tyres deciding to actually act like road tyres have caused me problems lol.

Gr.4 cars would be my pick for best racing.

The Mclaren 650S I got handles pretty well, but it's hard to judge until we have the full game and compare them all.

Wow has anyone tried the Viper Gr.4 on the lastest sport race, that is easily the best Gr.4 I have driven soo far, Loads of traction and front end really points into the turns.

GT-R Gr4 is the best. Absolutely planted and basically on rails. Almost impossible to lose traction.

It's the fastest, but feels pretty dull.

Volkswagen Gr.3 Beetle

Comical looks aside it is an absolute beast of a car, perfect handling and stability.

Beetle GR.3 is amazing.

@emmo46, would this car convince you to race on GT Sport?

Any chance of a shortlist of say 3 or 4 cars prior to release such that everyone will be able to purchase and test all potential season 1 cars in a short time frame? Based off of the Beta it looks like earning money will take some time especially given GT4 and GT3 cars are $350,000 and $450,000 respectively. Keep in mind that those who preordered the standard version should start off with an additional $500,000 and those who preordered the deluxe edition should start off with an additional $2M.

Its a demo for a reason I couldn't imagine PD making its users spend hours on end trying to gather coin for an understeering pile of junk.

With the tiny car list, should take no time to buy every car.

I doubt anything will change between the demo and final game. Especially given they incentivise users by playing everyday to receive a free car. Which given the number of cars means that incentive will soon run off if obtaining every car in the game can be achieved in a short amount of time.

so basically you want a game that requires 0 play time and once you install it you loads straight up the completed credit scene?
