    Hi All,

Looking for some information around a wheel and pedal set. Currently playing with controller on PS4, and looking to eventually upgrade and buy my first wheel and pedal set. Probably wouldnt want to spend much more than $500 as GT Sport is my first racing game and im still new to it, so just looking for information on what is 'the best'?

    Thanks :)

Logitech G29 is a pretty good wheel to jump in to for around that money. It is what a few members are running.

    I run the G29.
The only thing that irks me is the lack of a full throttle response, but then again it could have it but I'm just used to the feeling of acceleration from a car. Maybe I should upgrade my kit....

    IMO its a good wheel.

I picked up a G29 + Next level F1GT for $950 from JB-HiFi if you want to get the whole lot in one hit.

I think i'd start with just the wheel and pedals, and then eventually upgrade to some form of rig. At the moment, with this being my first sim racing game, my partner feels it is still just one of my 'fads'. :p

I just went and bought it and then told the girlfriend what was happening. Just be dramatic with her. Say that it is better for you both for you to be sitting on the Sim instead of out on the street accepting questionable drugs from questionable characters.

I had a thrustmaster T300rs recently and had no issues with it. Others have had problems but I never did.
What state do you live you? I have said T300rs plus wheel stand pro I need to sell for $250. I’m in the ACT.

g29 also has 2 year warranty.
get it from a retailer, keep the receipt in the box somewhere, and if it has an issue, take it in for a straight swap

speaking from experience DO NOT i cant stress enough DO NOT GET A G29 !!!!!!!! it is a peace of crap toy compared to thrustmaster. i brought one and thort it was worse then the G27. my bro had a thrustmaster t300 and i had a go on it and couldnt beleive what i was feeling through the wheel. 80% of what you can feel through a thrustmaster is lost in the g29 by rumbles and clunky noises. i quickly returned that heap of crap and paid $50 more the thrustmaster t300rs gt edition and its great and i like the brake mod included for the pedal.
plus logitech can suck balls for making every g27 owner buy a new wheel. dont give them ur money

Ive had botn the g29 and now T300.
I much prefer the T300, but for the price the g29 is good.
If you stretch the extra $$$, The thrustmaster is the way to go.
But if not the g29 is a great place to start

I got a T300 2nd hand with the Gt pedals...my first wheel and its amazing...well worth getting if the $ allow.

I found it non-productive to point out that over time money spent at cafes on food and coffee would approach the cost of the wheel.

while more expensive wheels are better looking, better to the touch and have better forcefeed back they DONT make u a better racer...thats just practice practice practice
