Choose the Group C cars you would prefer to drive. If the vote is very close, I will make a decision and that is what we will drive. Jaguar XJR-9 1988 Mazda 787B 1991 Sauber Mercedes C9 1989 Nissan R92CP 1992 You have 16 days to test/vote (14/9)
Nissan tops out before you reach the braking point of the first chicane, the Jag tops out a little bit after it. Would be awesome to be charging into the Mulsanne hairpin at 370km/h
Gotta be the R92CP. Brutal power and awesome handling, and sounds like a V8SC in the replay cam, how can you go wrong!
Wondering if people are actually testing all these and voting...or just listening to commentators and voting (like the liberals did last week). I bought the R92 for the Enduro, and only have 1 million left...might be time to crack out the Xbow again...would be interesting to see how every single one of these behaves. Everyone knows about the Xbow Blue Moon race to grind $250,000 in a 15 min race right? At first I couldn't steer it without a tune, though after doing it a few times I win at N300 easy enough now. As we are using the big cars...is Le Mans no chicances a go? Pretty please? Give me some incentive to buy the other $3 million dollars of cars to test? I guess the other tracks used are determined by the car even more so this season.
Had a crack in 3 of the 4 yesterday at St Croix B. First the Car I voted for was the Merc. Felt planted on turn in and exit after a little toying with BB...sounds the best of the 3 and just bloody good car all round. The Mazda was to loose for me and the lap time represented this just couldn't get the same drive out as the Merc and the Nissan. The Nissan a close 2nd and it came down purely to what I enjoyed most... Would be happy with either but prefer the Merc
After driving the R92 in the enduro, it got my vote after all that testing! Pity we won't be able to run a tune on it though, will make it very interesting to see peoples throttle control, or suffer from lack of acceleration using TCS.
