I'd be happy to start early just for this week given the circuit length and just have a one lap qualifying session. Needs to fit everyone's schedule though for that to happen.
So @JonoStan96 has solved our qualifying issue with The Ring, and we will be skipping qualifying and setting the grid in reverse championship order for Round 4. After this, a Poll will be opened with 2 options. A, to remain with the normal qualifying format for the rest of the season, or B, to use the new reverse championship order format. In order for B to be successful, it will need at least 70% of the votes and points for pole will not be given. So see what you think after the next round, and let us know when the new poll/thread goes up post-race
I have been informed that Division 2 & 3 will run with the normal qualifying of 10mins (so at The Ring, that's 1 out lap and 1 timed lap) Apologies for the changes
So other than a way of handicapping @KeedenMcdonald why is Div1 the only division "trialling" this new grid order system? I personally prefer traditional qualifying but don't quite understand why the division split other than the above reason..
Just double checking @JonoStan96 the next race at nurb 24h we are using 22.30 twilight setting not the 22.30 night setting?
Does anyone here want to follow what the div 3 guys are doing and start quali at 8.10pm aest for the nurb race?
