With several racers who have not raced since rd1, we can basically 'reserve them' or remove from consideration in regards to the earlier timeslot vote. Since Monstar barely makes the 830 start and has said he doesn't want to hold the rest of us up from starting early, this answer gives us a 'not attending'.
In saying this. Because DST is in, the race starts 1hr earlier for me anyhow. So starting earlier or not doesn't faze me. I'm doing this for you lot on the other side of the planet
10 minutes should be up just before the end of the third lap. Keeden could probably get 3 laps in under 10 minutes and get a 4th lap in. Overall qualifying would then be around 13 minutes 20 seconds.
Well done to the people who earn the right to go for a third lap if they're quick enough to get to the line
Jesus, I've done about 10 laps this week at st croix. My best is a low 3.23. This is going to be a painful race for me in div 2 if everyone else is in the 3.20s or lower. The two decreasing radius corners are really hard on the controller
Outlap will take 3:30 so good luck on getting in 4 laps. Let's just agree to cap it at 3 laps yeah given that tyres will be gone by the 4th lap anyway so just a waste of time
5 second penalty for that corner cut Mr Enzo! Interesting that you're grabbing third gear and flat out around the left hander onto the bridge. Looks like a risky corner. Lift and second gear for it me. Might need some more practice
There would only be a couple of people who'd get out the pits quick enough to do 4 laps so i'd vote for 2 flyers and park if it came to it. probably do that anyway to get the beers ready
And don't forget the mandatory pit stop beforehand, it's a long race! And please mute your microphone during the pit stop this time...
yes that cut was illegal. I messed up on the recorded lap and left it in because it shows what happens to the car when you mess it up too, but you still get the idea of what you can do there to minimise the amount of turning and straighten it out as much as possible
@FezzaRacing will be a reserve here tonight, if you get full let @Bluemoon know so he can get fezzaracing into div 2 instead
If anyone is having a little touble waiting for the home menu screen to load I have found a nice little solution. Turn off connection to internet in the systems network menu. Then start the game. It will say no network connection blah blah, but it will load the menu straight away. Then just turn the internet connection back on in the systems network menu. Then reconnect in the GT main menu. It should connect immediately
