OP Updated.
After some more testing I have decided to remove the Nissan GTR from the list of choices.
It will now be 3 Manufacturers only.
The Lexus, BMW and Ford seem to be very close on track even without BOP.
To the people who have entered or who are thinking of entering, I would like your input on the following ideas;
BOP: As stated above, these cars to me seem pretty close on track, so would you prefer to run BOP so there is no set up needed or would you prefer no BOP so you can set up your car to your hearts content?
Handicapping: Following on from
@incey and his question, the handicapping system would work as follows. This is open to change as weight handicapping is new to me in GT Sport so anyone who has experience in this, I'm happy to hear if I am way off the mark here.
Using GT Sport Season 10 Division;
Div 1: 100kg
Div 2: 50kg
Div 3: 20kg
Div 4: 0kg
On top of this would be success ballast for each round;
1st: 50kg
2nd: 35kg
3rd: 30kg
4th: 20kg
5th: 15kg
6th: 10kg
7th: 5kg
8th to 16th: -15kg until back to 0kg
Maximum success ballast: 100kg
If someone else drives your car in a round, that persons division weight will be used instead of yours. The success ballast will carry over as normal.
If I/we can get this right, it should make for a level playing field regardless of which div you are in.
What are your thoughts? Cheers.
