At 130% power, on the longer tracks you'd be bouncing of the rev limiter without a gear box tune.

Bollocks. this was said with the RbJnr and proved to be a knee jerk action then.
Tonight tskuba can’t get out of 4th gear.
Laguna excellent. Sardenga excellent. Just for a laugh Bathurst totally excellent.
But short tracks because they suit the car. Right let’s then pick Nurburgring 24h not one long straight not many but not one that won’t out do the gearbox. But hey I ask a sensible question and I get given a bollocks answer of they suit the car.

The car suits Tsukuba. We ran it for a 2hr race and it was loads of fun with plenty of opportunities for close racing. Not sure on RB Short

Bathurst was a heck of a lot of fun last night with @pat65 @NAACS and Rae - this car suits it well and provided some VERY close racing - I'll get some pics up later on this evening.

This season is going to be fun :)

Sorry, don't mid me, I'll just crawl back into my hole. I think, sometimes, I'd be better off just concentrating on my studies and not bothering with the rest the world.

@NAACS your tone can be assumed to be different than you were implying.
why do the answers @T F Eccles and I gave get a reply like that?
Maybe I deserve it, but feccles sure doesn't

There was a track suggestion thread, and the top 7 suggested were selected so there is your 100% final answer, bollocks or not

That right there is indicative of the world today. Taking objection to a statement contradicting an opinion. I totally disagree with the choice of the short tracks and with a full Nurburgring 24r track Is used in the same answer for reasoning. But that is my opinion. Nobody was hurt. It’s an opinion that can open a line of discussion to debate the matter Of the track list further hopefully with the moderators. Captain Risky counters my argument with an opinion that he did a 2hr race there and it was a lot of fun. That answer becomes part of the debate.
This car is a hoot. So much fun to drive but tiny tracks in my opinion suck.
We took it to Bathurst and had a great time. Extreme said he had to leave 5 times and 5 times he stayed rather than go to bed.
People let’s discuss the merits of the short tracks. I say they don’t merit inclusion but that’s my own opinion.
In the words of my grandad from my childhood “sticks and stones may hurt me, but calling me names or disagreeing with me NEVER will”

Thanks @Hatfield. And apologies for my reply, I regret it. No excuses, I reacted, should've risen above it.

I offer this advice, as it came up last night in the discussion forum of one of my grad cert subjects. Communication is what the listener does (or in this case the reader). Always have your audience in mind when communicating. You might intend something but I can't see inside your head to read that intent. All I can see is your behaviour, communicating is a behaviour.

OK, enough philosophising for the day, work beckons and today we get to help with the COVID-19 battle, something positive.

Eccles I apologise if your feelings and sensibilities were hurt. Your comments were only included in my post as I in my opinion disagreed with them. They are words my compadre and are not meant to hurt. The point was I challenged that opinion. So I will say I am sorry for appearing to attack you on a personable level.
