Suggestions have been tallied so here is your car vote thread.

    Multiple selections are allowed.

    Audi R18 TDI 2011 Gr.1 - Racing Softs

Subraru Impreza 22B-STi Version 1998 - Sports tyres

Nissan Xanavi Nismo GT-R 2008 - Racing tyres

    Toyota 86 GR.4 - Racing Mediums

    All at 100/100 power/weight

I recommend you test drive the cars not only by yourself but in a pack because some cars become different beasts when close behind another car

You have 2 weeks to get your votes in

If votes are very close, I will ask those who voted only for the bottom placed car to reassign their votes to try and get a majority winner.

I might be in the same boat, just spent my $20M on the XJ13. Currently on zero!

Adendum - it's OK, I've got all of them. :whistling:

Tested out the Subaru Impreza 22B-STi and had a blast in a 7 lap race around Tsukuba on Sports Hard tyres against the AI. This car is very controllable, promotes close racing and eats curbs for breakfast. Looking forward to practice races on Sunday night.

I sure am. It's likely I will have a room open early, and just shuffling through the cars throughout the night.

I was thinking also of just having the same track, as that way we all know the course and can compare the cars better - I'm thinking Interlagos, Dragon Trail Seaside or Nur GP (Yes I can choose another track other than Bathurst lol).

Make sure you're all friends, the room will only have 16 spots obviously, first in first serve, hopefully some others can host if that's the case.

    Catch you all tonight :)

I'd suggest using tracks that suit each car (more point and shoot tracks for Audi for example due to the dirty air

So after the practice races tonight, IMO:
Audi has too much dirty air issues
Subaru handles well for a road car and provides good close racing
    Nissan just sticks very well
Toyota the rear end jumps out too easily

I'd love to see a season in the subaru, but failing that winning people over, the Nissan will do fine

I agree the Subaru was good fun and enjoyable, and could make for an interesting season with the fluid divisions.

Sorry, I couldn't drive it for toffee, don't think I completed a single clean lap in it. Maybe with race tyres but otherwise NOOOOOOOO!

    Practice.

Also takes a bit of adjustment of driving style when you've just jumped out of the R18!

Yep, I would have thought it's a car anyone can drive, just need to learn how to drive it. It's slow and predictable, same goes for the Toyota imo, the back steps out when you lift into a corner but that is both controllable and avoidable if you drive it right.

The Audi for me is a big no from me, the Nissan is too fast for me to race properly in, I can set decent lap times in it but racing side by side or even overtaking is beyond my skill level and likely ends in tears for someone(sorry @pat65)
