don't over think it. Just pick a car you like, and search for a tune online. then all you need to do is adjust the top speed of the gearbox to suit whatever track we are at. Tonight we are just trying a bunch of cars so no big deal
Thanks to those that could make it, what a blast! feedback from my opinion is that 500pp works quite well as the base number for Ramsey and Classic class on Comfort Soft tyres lots of different cars were within the same ballpark and the pp system seems to work ok funny point on that was I had a fully tuned classic mini at about 490pp with all upgrades but not the engine swap. @HighStakes123 had an engine swapped one which was 100kg heavier but had 300hp more and his pp was about 450. But he couldn't get the power down and was slower (as indicated by the pp difference) it might be a good idea next week to test 650pp and 800pp for a couple races each and see if those numbers feel right
Come and enjoy this is fun I jumped in a car purchased a power limiter changed the pp to under 500 Tuned nothing and had fun.
I'll come next Thursday and have a go if that's ok. I really want to race but when it comes to having to chose a car and also needing to tune it is too much for my brain to handle unfortunately. I have an acquired brain injury due to being blown up by an IED, the simplest thing for most people is extremely difficult for me which is very frustrating. Maybe if someone could help me by listing a a few cars to chose from then I could go from there and test what's best for me then trying to find a tune online and go from there.
@Blunty I know how you feel when you say you get frustrated with tuning I also have a brain injury that left me blind a deaf on my right side. My frustration is turn in let alone tuning.
This sounds super fun. Can't usually do a Thursday (or Tuesday) but if there's another night scheduled sometime it might tempt me into getting a PS+ sub!
thanks for testing tonight guys. looking more towards the original classes and tyres now: (H) Hyper Street - 600pp - sports soft (S) Super Street - 500pp - sports hard (J) Jump Street - 500pp - sport hard (1999 or older only) (R) Ramsey Street - 400pp - comfort soft (C) Classic Street - 400pp - comfort soft (1979 or older only) With an allowed garage of 4 cars per driver Each car in the game will only be available for 2 drivers max would anyone be interested in testing some 400/500/600 cars on Sunday night?
I think that kills my Aventador., It was great at 600PP SH and 700PP RH, Now only eligible for 600PP SS. I'll rethink my plans now.
