Indeed, last time I tried VR on racing game it didn't end well. It will need to have good adjustment for those of us that need to wear glasses.
The better ones allow you to wear them over your glasses and/or allow for internal focal point adjustments. As a longsighted person, it ought to be possible to adjust the virtual viewing distance to match my eyes so that my brain thinks I'm looking into the distance and not need my glasses.
I wonder how many iterations until the VR does the optometrist eye test with you to calibrate per your specific vision
Had a look and interestingly they are for near-sighted people as they ask you to submit your far distance prescription.
you should be able to specify sph for long sightedness by specifying a positive number. The mention of far distance is for folks like me who have progressive lenses. I have three lens configurations built into the single lens. One for far, one for monitor and one for reading.
I'm waiting to purchase mine. See how it goes and go from there. I've just spent $1200 on my new rig tv, so yeah

Sadly, I'm still on the fence about it. Given my motion sickness, I'm definitely going to either test it or wait for reviews from our Rooz clan before I purchase it. Plus I also have glasses now
