Ok guys, here we go. Our track list for season 13 in the Citroen. As per usual there will be tracks there that some don't like, but Cyber has done a great job, and spent a lot of time testing and putting this together. We didn't go with weather, as this car could cause some of us to go looking for some rope, and the night races on the big track really didn't suit the gearbox. With the gears as short as they are, it becomes mind numbing with it bouncing off the limiter for 3/4 of the lap. The Divisions will be sorted in the next week so everyone knows what is happening, we may even run different divisions in the one lobby to keep the grid numbers up. Will see what happens in the next few days with entries. 1. Grand Valley Speedway. 27 laps - 20th Oct 2. Rome 43 laps - 27th Oct 3. Laguna seca 2x17 laps - 3rd Nov 4. Fuji F 31 laps - 10th Nov 5. Grand Valley East Reverse 93 laps (enduro) - 17th Nov 6. Autumn ring. 41 laps - 24th Nov 7. Deep forest 41 laps - 1st Dec Cheers Stu and Team
Love that track !! Even though i didnt choose it !! It always gives us some good racing and hasnt been used for a while. Only down side is the penalties can be a bit harsh, couple of spots you dont want to run wide.....Will help you out in our prac sessions where i can, so long as your not beating me
Thanks Cyber!. I will start practicing now and hopefully find some sort of form to at least offer you fella's abit of a challenge.
It's alright in my opinion. I'm absolutely loving the choice of Rome and Deep Forest, scenes of my previous domination However, I despair at the sight of Fuji, with it's insane penalties! Laguna Seca is excellent for the sprint, but two Grand Valleys? Round 1 I like but 81 laps of East Reverse? NOOOOOOOOOOOO! lol I hope I can be more successful this season with the Citroen at Autumn Ring than I was with the RX7. Ironically I've only tested one of these tracks, yet I've tested nearly every other one I could think of! It's going to be a great season! Cheers, Jono
Pretty happy with track selection, car is going to be a handful at the tight tracks, I really liked it at grand valley east reverse though.
Out of all the tracks we tested, grand Valley reverse is where the car felt best. Not so fun at Laguna seca
Thank God, I was getting about eight laps at GVS with it at fast. It will still probably be a two stopper on normal.
Laguna is hard to get the best off the car, i.made quite a few mistakes there because the car moves around alot on elevatated corners.
2 grand valleys jono, but reality is they are worlds apart in the config we are running them. GVER felt great last night. With this car it's a case if getting into a groove and then it does feel pretty good. One thing I did notice, it doesn't like hanging over the ripple strips, always seems to grab the outside wheels and want to take you off track.
I think with a bit of practice and surrounded by a pack of cars you'll find Fuji will be a great round
I thought it felt best at Laguna lol. Really turned in nicely there. Everytime I was on a great lap I'd stuff it up though lol.. I'm gonna suck so hard at Autumn Ring
I like the list just because there is NO SUZUKA!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY! Love the GVER enduro, love the Fuji F, love the Rome. Laguna needs a bit of work on my part, the rest shouldn't be too bad!
