Haha Ao, I am not a wheel user anymore or as fast as you suggest division 4 is my place whilst fighting the controller maybe division 3 if I'm lucky Really need to get a wheel
Raced with Seth last night, I don't think he's going to be D1 any time soon. He's using a controller, pretty sure he'll be D4.
lol, nah you'll be OK I'm sure. I hope I'm not offending Seth but he was waaaaaaayyyyy off the pace and was using assists. I see he's good at GT6 and I'm sure if he applies himself to PCars long enough he'll get the hang of it as well. He was struggling last night to keep in a straight line from what I saw. I think someone needs to help him out with controller settings and some advice on the 190E.
Yeah it's pretty much impossible to drive at all consistently with a controller with this car, or on this game really. Under braking for the first chicane at Zolder the car would move to the left by itself with no steering input, and tight chicanes are a lottery if it lets you change direction properly, spin out or snap on you. I find the FB cars to be the easiest to drive because it's easy to be consistent without the car struggling to make up it's mind.
You should tell @COME_AND_GET_ME7 that then because he doesn't seem to have got the message lol. Also a few other guys are handy with the controller though I can't for the life of me do it myself.
I have no shame in admitting I am rubbish. I've said time and time again I've played it on various wheels with no problem at all as the physics are top notch. Considering you've played this game for, gee how long on a controller, you've got far more experience on it than we all have, I wouldn't be attacking people who might be struggling just a little bit.
Just a little bit of banter mate Like all things it takes time and patience. Using a controller you have to accept that you will in 90% of cars in the game never be able to achieve the lap times or consistency of those with the luxury of a wheel and just focus on keeping it on the black stuff and facing in the right direction. No car is impossible to drive you just have to be more gentle with your inputs in some cars than in others. Yes its effectively impossible to counter steer in this game and catch a slide like you easily could in GT6. With time you'll learn what you can and what you cant get away with in this game. There is definitely some enjoyable racing to be had even for those on a controller if you have the patience.
Same one mate as per this thread: http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.ph...-qualify-for-project-cars-sunday-league.1813/ The weight balance of the car has changed since those settings were done but if you slide it to the same spot it is all good.
