Just an idea...
With the amount of support this has gotten already, perhaps have a group of stewards for GT6 and another for PC? Collisions can vary differently between games and there are some incidents on games where drivers who are used to the game will be more likely to spot glitches etc. Just a thought

The 'goal' is to actually simplify the process for everyone, and provide transparency and consistency.....something that has never been achieved in any level of motorsport anywhere in the world . We could be groundbreaking !!

Will talk with Ads and Hat and come up with a small group of 5 and go from there.
looking for guys who are
- on here often and reply pretty quickly
- ability to upload vids when required
- level headed !
- good history and understanding of "racing" rules and regs.

The biggest thing for me in PCARS at least, are the network issues that can give 2 very different POV, and giving everyone a clear understanding of what is required when there is a protest lodged.

ok guys...Bare with me here, is still a work in progress.....and we may need to tweak the below to get it workable for all platforms.

Stewards group moving forward will be the following members (assuming all interested in taking on the position- if not we will ask another member who showed interest) We have taken into account how much stuff people are doing on the forum, so those already doing extra have not been included at this stage, just in the interest of spreading the load .

Process for protests
1. Driver wants to protest so saves replay
2. Protesting driver lets the stewards group know of the protest WITH REPLAY
3. Stewards Group let other driver (protested against) know of the protest and ask for replay from them if available.
4. If replay from them not available, they may ask room captains for their replay
5. When both drivers replays are available to the stewards group, they will assess, and make a ruling
6. BOTH drivers are made aware of the ruling and why the ruling was made, based on the evidence available
7. BOTH drivers have the right to appeal the decision.
8. On appeal, the decision of the appeals group will be final.

If people are happy with this then we will put it into a cleaned up thread ! If it needs to be worded differently, put up your suggestions.

For the PCARS guys, we will specify individual regs in the driver briefing that relate specifically to PCARS given we run penalties ON. I think that a driver briefing for GT6 (i know you did that last season) specific to GT6 would be good, given you dont run penalties. Am talking about track limits for certain tracks (where penalties are missing) or pit entry / exit.
