Alright guys/gals , I'm keen as for another oval enduro , so here we go. Tested the FormulaGT here, but IMO its just way to twitchy on turn in and exit to get fun, side by side racing going. DAYTONA 500km When - Friday 7th April Qually - 8:20pm Start - 8:30pm Track - DAYTONA Speedway Car - NASCAR Laps - 125 , ( 500km ) Tuning - Open, no limit Track Settings :- Weather - 0% , Fixed Time - 12:00 Time Progression - 5X Race delay finish - 50 sec. Race Settings :- Tyres - RS only , normal wear (tyres & fuel) Qually - 1 out lap, 1 flying lap, then park on the infield Start - Double File Rolling Start Boost - None / Off Penalty - Off Tyre / Fuel - Normal Grip - Real Damage - OFF Slip - real Aids - ABS & TC only, all others Off Mics - ON Pit Exit -Once the A.I. releases you , there are 2 yellow lines . The normal "inside of track" line, plus an extra fat Pit Line. Keep 2 wheels inside the Fat Line until it ends, then you must hold the bottom of the banking (inside racing line / low line) through turn 1&2. Qually procedure - - will be run in practice mode. - after a re-set, everyone enters the pit but doesn't go out on track. - will leave the pits in the order of the blue boxes (the order the game puts you on the driver list) one at a time. -the first driver goes out for their run, then the next driver (No.2 blue box) leaves for their run, as the driver in front crosses the first split timer line (after T2, in hte middle of the back strait) - as driver No.2 crosses the first split timer line, Blue box driver No.3 leaves for their run, - continues through No.4 leaves as No.3 crosses it , continuing through all drivers. - When its your run, get on it strait away (no point swerving warming tyres, you need to get your momentum going strait away) put in your flying lap, cross the line , and keep on the gas around turn 1&2 then pull over on the infield before turn 3 and park it , If everyone does this, the timing works to perfection that everybody gets a clear, no draft assisted run, without anybody tripping over any other driver, and will only take a few mins or so. -Once the last driver finishes their lap, race starts (so it's not possible to have a qually set up, and race set up) -if you have a spin during qually, get off track as quickly as possible and park it out of the way, so as not to affect everyone else Tunes - there are plenty for this class on GT Planet, but i can post up mine, when i start fiddling with one (warning - noone usually likes my tunes) REGS. - All ROOZ rules and driving standards apply Drivers - 1 - arakasi-...................................#43 AJ Allmendinger , 2010 Best Buy FORD 2 - Jaycie..,................................#88 Dale Jr. , Chevrolet 3 - Nigel Burley,...........................#14 Tony Stewart ,Bass Pro 2013 Chevrolet SS 4 - LITTLEBLACKO.....................#88 Dale Jr., 2013 Chevrolet SS 5 - Bryan_F.................................. #24 Jeff Gordon , 2013 Chevrolet SS. 6 - grassies 7 - incey -.....................................#99 Carl Edwards , Quack FORD 8 - ssman244 9 - emmo......................................#11 Denny Hamlin , FedEx Toyota 10 - Knuckles...............................#11 Denny Hamlin , FedEx Toyota 11 - Cola......................................#83 Bryan Vickers , 2011 Red Bull Toyota 12 - pat65 13 - BMW 14 - 15 - 16
Full power. All you can add is an oil change. Have made it tuned so tyre wear strategy plays a part, as well as not bouncing on the rev limiter all race. I think there will be at least 2 tyre strategies in with a chance of the win
Just worked out daylight savings ends the week before this, so Qld time is now deleted from O.P. Will keep it at 8;30 start, the standard ROOZ start time, but can bring it an hour earlier if it suits EVERYONE.
you could always park it on the infield after lap 50 and pull out your quilt and have a little nanna nap if you like
