Another new racer here!

Hello hello! A new member as of 30 mins agofrom Brisbane. Been sim driving for many years, not considered very flash at it, though I enjoy it for practice/training. I drive on any platform and most sims. Gt series is what got me into racing, now drive Pcars, Acorsa, raceroom etc. I enjoy all platforms(racing is racing irrespective of what platform sim engine used). Looking to join practice sessions and eventually improve my skills to try a season. Just started reading the forums to gain knowledge. I'm on ps4, xbox and pc.

Hopefully I can grab knowledge from here to improve my virtual race craft.

Can racers be watched? I dont feel im up to the level of racing atm.

It's possible if:

A) Someone is streaming it
B) You use the "request to watch" feature on the PS4 itself

I don't think anyone streams our races though, and watching directly would use up bandwidth for the person you're viewing, which might affect their race if their connection isn't up to the task. There's no pressure to join a season straight away mate, you're welcome to join in on any practice sessions we run during the week. I'm online most nights so if I see you I'll invite you or if you see me just send a message or join the party and say hey.

I actually ment being in the hosted lobby and just watching instead of racing. Ill have have to buy p.plus subscribtion now.

Ahhhhhhh, ok. I doubt it, the lobbies are pretty full with people actually racing

On Monday nights some guys stream AC live. Qualy starts 9pm AEST so check the shout box around that time for the links

Do you need playstation plus for the pcars series? Im assuming its the multilplayer section of the game?

Yeah mate you do, you need PS+ for any multiplayer game.

Im going to learn/practice pit strategies today.

What offline modes allow pitstops. I dont want to go into my career mode just to practice pitstops. Rather very annoying.

Is there a division 4? My pace in the v8 superflops is 10 seconds off everyone's pace on division 3.

There's no 4th division. Division 3 is divided into 3 and 3b though. What kind of times we you doing around Bathurst?

I don't like the v8 supercars.

That's 10 seconds off the fastest lap but there are other guys who didn't race last night so are about the same pace as you mate.
