I just watched your vid from start to finish, it's awesome to see how much you're improving race by race! Shame that your game froze, did you try rejoining the race? You might have been able to keep going.

I had the Network issue earlier in the race and used the back up invite to get back in then. So had no more invites in my notifications to use to try my luck that time around. I assumed you cant just find the race without the invite? There was something about that track that I just enjoyed. Nice and fast and I think the heavy brake zones work well with my dodgy brake pedal set up. I also feel a bit more confident around other cars now. Not quite enough to try passing every where, but confident enough to try where I'm sure I can pull out very easily if needed.

You can still try and rejoin via a friend in the lobby, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

PSN chat use during a qualifying or race session is not permitted. Abuse will be handled by moderators.

Events will be postponed and moved to the following week if there are less than 8 attendees.

Passing under the Safety Car is not permitted. If you pass a car under SC and are not prompted to return the place, you must return the position when the race returns to green unless a pit stop occurs. Penalties will apply.

You are not permitted to enter the pits by overtaking other cars under a safety car or virtual safety car before the pit entry line. You must hold position until the pit entrance line. Exploiting this will result in a time penalty.

In the interests of incidents and protests, it is STRONGLY reccomended that you record your gameplay using the PS4's share feature. Setting it to 60 mins is enough to cover the end of qualifying and a 50% race.

You must upload your pole lap to YouTube or other media. Failure to do so will result in a penalty point.

Rage Quitting will not be tolerated. If you want to quit, RETIRE via the pause menu before leaving the lobby. 3 penalty points will be applied if you do not retire properly.

Spoiler: Disconnection & Rejoin Policy

Drivers who disconnect are encouraged to rejoin the race as soon as possible, via a pre race lobby invite, jooning through a party or a friend's profile. Driver's who disconnect after 75% race distance will keep their positions at the race's end, however they must have completed at least 75% of the total laps. (e.g In a 60 lap race, you must have completed 45 laps. Drivers who disconnect having completed 75% of the total laps and not rejoined, they will be classed as a DNF.

Those who qualify inside the Top 10 are forced to start on the tyres they set their fastest lap on. If it is on one of the harder 2 of the compounds it will now count as one of the compulsory compounds for the race.

Spoiler: Time Penalties and Penalty Points

Penalties handed down by the game cannot be reversed. These are 2, 3, 5 and 10 second time penalties respectively. You may receive a post race penalty for reckless driving and other misdamenours via a protest.

Racking up 12 penalty points will result in a race ban. In extreme instances where stupidity is repeated, a race ban may be applied regardless of PP. Reckless driving, multiple track limit infringements, chat use, and disregard for the rules may result in penalty points. A maximum of 3 points can be earned per offence depending on severity. Penalty points may or may not be applied in conjunction with time penalties.

Well, I'll certainly keep that in mind in the future. Never really done much online gaming, so it's all a learning curve.

I disconnected and before i had the chance to properly exit the game i ended up being kicked out onto the main screen you get when you first load the game up. I had just presumed it had happened automatically. So i apologise if my ghost caused some chaos their was nothing i could do.

I'll just blame you for your car turning me around. Cost me a few seconds.... hahaha.

Return from holidays. What a track to come back too.

I might not make it this week, got a work trip tomorrow and return Thurs night. I will do my best to be there.

Won't be racing this Thursday unfortunately. Got commitments to a Cup game for my football (soccer) team. Will definitely be back for Monaco next week though!

I drove the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve the other day, the first time since F1 2002! I'd forgotten how exhilarating the track was. Really looking forward to the race!

Sorry guys, there will be no driver of the day for Mexico due to the several protest delays. However I'm sure we can all agree that @razor4797 taking both the pole and win on probably the most un-controller friendly track on the game deserves a huge rap.
