    Ok guys,

Car discussion for the new season......
Personally, i think a tin top is the way to go and will have a larger group of guys keen to run

@v8power383 has been doing a heap of testing in different cars and will have some to throw up as options that be discussed and tested

As said in the sign up thread, the 'plan' is to run PCARS 2, however that isn't set in stone until we get to have a run in it and see how it works..

Will start with a really simple poll, let us know what you think

For season 1 of PCars 2 I would like to see rally X pending dirt physics. Alternatively one of the new touring cars if we want to keep things tarmac only. Don't believe we've ever used a hatchback race be that GT5, GT6 or PCars 1.

Big No to a mixed car series, to much possible disparity between tracks could really hurt the racing

yeah, that has always been an issue mate, in the past we have only ever run 1 series that had different cars, and they were all exactly the same in performance.
looking forward to driving the ferrari
The rallyX looks interesting thats for sure...i think that will be a side series though....imagine the protests we could have on that ! Also i think the grid sizes for that will be too small

I think we should a quick series or two this year just to iron out any issues that the game may have and find some gems to drive as well if we are putting pcars 1 to bed but if we stay with pcars 1 I think a GT4 is the way to go in particular the Ford Mustang 302R GT4 it's so much fun to race

I'd like to see us drive a car that is unavailable in the original Pcars, something like the Nissan 240Z, a Ferrari/Lambo, a GTR, or one of the GT3/4 cars perhaps. Until we get the game in our hands and drive a few it's going to be difficult to make a real suggestion though.

A GT3 class would be awesome with such a wide range of manufacturers to select from.

I look at the list of cars and see so many cars that I could enjoy racing in. To me it makes most sense to go with a car that will fill grids, but I honestly have no idea what cars would achieve that but it would be great to see 4+ divs again.

As for specific cars I would be keen to try:
    • Ferrari 488 GT3
    • Lambo Huracan GT3
    • Lambo Sesto Elemento
    • Honda NSX (Road)
    • Honda Civic Type R (Road)
    • Nissan GT-R R32 (Group A)
    • Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3
    • Porsche 911 GT3 RS (Road)
    • Porsche 918 Spyder
    • McLaren 720S

Don't forget that there is an option of running multi class within a championship. If it comes down to a close vote/choice between 2 cars we certainly have the option of doing that... if it all works as the early videos have shown

there are some great ideas in this thread & i agree with:
dj to use a car previously unavailable on pcars1
v8 to run a couple of quick series to make sure no bugs screw with a championship
benny on the 488 GT3 as the car on top of my wishlist
