separate. scapes download is optional and has to be done from ps store (you can do this from the game though)
Arcade will be disappointing as you will be limited to the 3 Demo tracks as all other tracks you have to unlock by leveling up.
I had a go last night, breezed through the beginner license tests and moved onto Intermediate. Didn't start them as the sandman was wreaking havoc, so will continue this evening. Strange but it does feel slightly different from the demo. Not a huge difference, but definitely a slight change. Not for better or worse, just different.

has always been that way.....those graphics though, its not hard to look at while you grind away...in a livery you make yourself no less. its called give and take.
I don't mind the levelling thing. I enjoy getting to those milestones... and it isn't difficult when you get massive amounts of xp for some of the easier achievements. Due to the pre-order goodies, I was up to level 8 after signing in...

Levelling up doesn’t take long at all, honestly just doing the single player missions nets you a chunk of XP, after just the demo I was already at level 23 and I missed out on a whole day of it. You can level up literally doing anything so the so called grind is a moot point.
