It doesn't need to be tuned anymore mate, you can edit pit strategy in default setup rooms. It'd be better to go non tuned because the physics seem quite different.

great race tonight fellas, got to have some racing with most of the guys on the grid & it is looking like we're in for a sweet season of action got a question for y'all: is it default that everyone qualifies & starts the race on hard slicks? this happened to me tonight & i hadnt done any running on the hards & may explain why NSTOZZA_1985 (@@Nathan Storrier i presume?) sent me spinning on lap1 at t6. in good rooz form, thx for the redress on that stozz, you had fabbo pace after the stops well done dj on the win @Vards i was in #38 tonight & will happily stick with it, thx for organising that
Yeah mate the car defaults onto the hards. Believe it or not they're actually quicker than the softs.
Had a strange glitch tonight. I have the pit limiter set as auto (so no pit button assigned). Came in for my pit stop end of lap 13. Made sure I was under 60 at pit entry, no dramas. As I was approaching my pit bay, the auto pit limiter turned itself off and that resulted in the car surging forward (had my foot on the accelerator) giving me a 10s penalty. Immediately after that, my car went into autodrive and entered my pit bay and then drove off on its own accord. Had no further control over the car after that so retired to the pits.
well, if that was an indication of things to come, oh boy. not aware it was a tuned room, i hadn't done anything about starting fuel levels or anything like that so had more than 120L on board for the race. it showed as i was 2 or 3 seconds a lap slower. then my pit strategy must have glitched or i had changed it somewhere and forgot about it as i got put on the softs and the most awesome realistic physics ever in this game just made the car even worse and understeery and useless. and not even mentioning the stupid and overblown 50sec penalty for pit lane speeding. what a joke
Everyone started on 130L the default setup puts everyone on the max fuel load As for the soft tyre physics I’m sure there’s some reality in amongst that but yeah but dodgy Don’t speed in the pits, in real life speeding in pit lane is a big big penalty as well...
I agree, as much as I like manual pit stops I think the penalties are too harsh (50 sec or DSQ) but if pit penalties are turned off people will speed. I would like to see pit stops changed to automatic to prevent anyone's race being ruined by a brain fade going into the pits. Nothing like practicing all week to get a huge penalty or disqualified for braking to late etc.
whatever Rhino, not in the mood really. your insuation is just pathetic and plain offensive. was this a tuned or non tuned room last night? if tuned, i'm not sure why given 99% of runs so far have been in a non tuned room as far as i know.
would actually make sense if someone went barreling into the pits full speed.........................
