All up 12 laps this morning offline, 4 laps in the high .25's, best 25.7, 6 laps in the low to mid 26's and a couple of spins. As usual will be keeping it on the track, no luck in that so far........ Still torn between bumper and bonnet cam ( Bonnet prob quicker but sounds ordinary! ). Would love to go cockpit for the immersion but I am 1 to 2 secs slower per lap!
With no tyre and fuel wear, that looks like low 2.27 online. Very solid times. As Incey said earlier, it is very hard to get a consistent time across all the sectors on this track as it is nice and long. This just means that overall it has many chances for being a close race as you might be quicker over a few sectors compared to others. I reckon another close night of racing.
Whats the rules on turning up say for example right at the end of qualifying - is that allowed and just start at back of grid or do you only accept racers online at the start of qualifying? Just to know as its that tight me getting online on Sunday.! lol
Won't be an issue. As long as you are on before race start I'm all good with it. As long as you are happy with starting last on purpose
you can show up anytime before the race is started. Yes you will start last if you fail to set a qualifying lap within the required time
That was Angry, lag makes a few of his corners look a bit funny, had to have been smoother than that, surely!
I'm curious about how the lag presents itself to those that suffer from it, are we all bouncing around?
The impact varies...Johnno said I was bouncing around for a while in one race (yamagiwa iirc) pre NBN, though I hadn't noticed anything...the good examples seem to get saved and uploaded though! I also made sure my partner now knows not to facetime or watch catch up neighbours too, sunday night they get banned.
@Captain_Risky_21 you should upload me dying last night from Ovlag. Basically on my screen he was in the wall then with in 1 frame he was behind me the next frame I was halfway through the wall and he was heading down the straight. Lag can be death that's for sure.
For me on sunday it made everyone lag, things happen like being further or up or down the road then they actually are causing them to teleport some times... This is frustrating in braking because if they are closer than what is presented because of lag you can easily punt them off track, also due to the lag it can make you appear to be bouncy especially in corners as the connection is having a hard time transmitting where you are actually turning on the corner
