Actually they’re fun little cars in a racing pack. Hard to pick just for me right now. If the vote is close, 1-2 votes ahead for the winner can we please have a very short poll between those two cars? Just to finalise it for everyone? P.s. I just love polls and stats...Poll!!
I voted BMW, but I prefer the caterham but if we gonna have a head to head it should be between the BMW and the Caterham imo, I agree with whats been said before bout the 86 - slow, boring, sounds bad. 86 definately seems the most well rounded in terms of handling
I don't mind if it's the Caterham , but be warned , I've done a lot of racing in this car , and if you don't drive it right , the rear tire's will over heat and you'll be in it over your head . I've also done a lot of racing in the 86 , that car is all about being smooth and getting the guy or girl in front of you to make a mistake , don't care if its slow , it's a driver's car .
It's going to be awesome in the caterham racing around big wide boring track so everyone has more of a chance to keep it pointing in the right direction once they start finding the limits and killing the rear tyres, great car for a 5 lap race though lol and I'm willing to bet most people like the caterham based on 5 lap racers
Tell us when you plan to get on . I've done a few 20 lap race's with this car on standard tune . It gets really interesting towards the end.
From what I understand, and the testing that I have done in this car, the sensitivity of the wheel needs to be turned down to best deal with the twitchy handling, which I don't think will be a huge issue, and the controller users also have options for reducing sensitivity. And of course, the more the better for testing as the differing skill levels and laptimes will all need to be considered.
