Ok guys..... By the time this comes around i will be back on deck and ready for season 4..... Lets get car discussion started so i / we can do some testing and come up with another great season. The plan will be to have a big cross platform prize pack, so lets start to get some guys back for big grids and great racing. As always, season will be NON TUNE, am keen to try to get pit stops and strat a big part of the races, yet keep it easy for the guys who dont have a lot of time to prac.... We used the BMW TC last night in public lobby races and it was a good thing. Some of the LMP cars are good as well for something faster but would need to test with tuning off to make sure they dont drive like pigs ! GIven i am not racing this season, throw up some ideas and ill test them tune free to get a short list Stu EDIT..... some of the better cars tested.... Merc CLK GT1 BMW 320TC Sauber C9 BMW M1 procar
Mercedes-Benz - Sauber C9 (Group C) Nissan - R89C (Group C) Toyota - GT-One (GT1) Mercedes-Benz - CLK-LM (GT1) McLaren - F1 GTR Long tail (GT1) Audi - 90 Quattro IMSA (GTO) Toyota - TS040 Hybrid (LMP1) Audi - R8 (LMP900) Bentley - Speed 8 (LMP900) Lotus - 98T Porsche - 936 Spyder (Group 6) BMW - M3 (Group A) Mercedes-Benz - 190E (Group A) BMW 320 Turbo (Group 5) Porsche - 935/80 (Group 5)
Pick one of these and I will buy the game and enter, I don’t care if I’m rubbish but I can be spared a season of road cars on GTS on poo tyres, the vast majority in the game are some of the worst cars to drive on any game I’ve played.
Trust me jono, once you get used to the nuances of how the game works (working around the annoying glitches) it really is good.
The group A cars are my favourite but the group C, GT1 and LMP cars would be a good change I think If you raced with us in the Tuesday night random racing you would have driven them all already
Fun is the #1 factor, been wanting to do a Group C season for 5 years now, most fun you can have legally with your pants on
I say if the man has been waiting 5 years for it , give him what he wants . no oil needed for this one
I’m in the same boat as the midget, I drive a crappy road car in the real world I’m not settling for one on gt Sunday league I already have the game, whistle at me if a group c goes through Or something similar and fast Ideally I’m not impressed with the current GT Sport regs as no cosideration was taken in the tyre wear testing
I vote also for the bmw tc. Is fast enough and fun enough it will keep the field close together, provided not making mistakes. Can race up front no problem but brings the field closer. Have had somr close qualifying too. 7 cars within a .5 sec gap.
If we're going to run a BMW, at least make it the 320 Turbo (Group 5), something with an engine that makes you respect how much right foot you give it.
Did you try those 2 BMW's in a default room spidey because last time I drove them they sucked but they could have changed since the last update as they were awesome cars in pcars 1 but still good in tune rooms I'm keen on some random racing tonight if your keen
