Down to 3:29 with a tune and a half hour of practise laps, still a bit more to lose! Fuel and tyre wear will be interesting, bit different to Bathurst.

I take it usual track limits apply @JonoStan96 ? There are a few spots it isn't really obvious - it is easy to assume edge of tarmac is limit...but edge of track white line is correct limit if i'm not mistaken?

Ripple (rumble) strips being outside usual track limits make the transistion appear OK at first glance...but not on further reflection.

Surely that's the exit of Mulsanne corner, same as last picture.
Arnarge has the green runoff beside the curb (and a wall).

I reckon it’s fine, closer looks wtf the lines don’t even match the curbs
Like the third photo crossing the line badly but the cars not even near the curb I guess that’s fine too maybe just have the curbs as our reference to track limits

hmmm Le Mans has always been a bit of a basket case for track limits, I’m happy to go through corner by corner showing what’s ok, and what’s not.

Yeah we had the same issue with the endurance series, whereby the white lines have literally no bearing on where the racing line is (but nobody told PD this when they made the track limits), we just ran a "within reason" clause to the "white line unless curb, then curb" rule.
Sucks that it has to be a judged call and not clear cut compared to normal, but good thing this is getting dealt with now, and not after someone feels hard done by after the fact. Specifically remembering the pit line debacle of GT6 a few seasons ago lol.

mm yh dunno, these were from early June. I figured was arnage or ralentisseur! Def Mulsanne though, with that little building there, after a check of another replay.

Two tyres on track or on track limit line is ok isn't it? Even if the tyre is half out, half on line? Wouldn't that make the second one OK? OK at that moment, possibly not a couple frames earlier if back right tyre wasn't at least on the limit line.

What about bollards? The replay sometimes clips the car through the bollards, what about once they are hit and not visible? Doesn't the replay replace them, even though they weren't visible to the racer? Or is that only cones that happens to?

The rules here on track limits are pretty liberal, as long as 2 wheels are inside the white line it’s ok.

The driver aid cones should be turned off at all times because they can have adverse effects on the race, for example, another driver can hit one, roll back on the track in front of you and suddenly you’ve lost control, taken someone out while on the other driver’s screen, they’ll think you’re driving like an idiot.

The regular track bollards (green) like the ones on Mulsanne corner appear for everyone and will break if anyone hits them. I’d advise avoiding them but we all they’re going to be hit.

As long as you’ve got a wheel on the track play on,
