Use this to share your wheel and FFB settings to help others.

    Fanatec CSL:
It’s early days but try this as the stock settings are :poop:.
Game calibration screen. Set steering saturation to 70 (Edit; I had an incorrect setting on my wheel base so this stuffed up my in game steering ratio, I’ve since turned the wheel base of Sen to Aut for Fanatec wheel users). This give me a pretty good 1:1 steering ratio and has enough rotation to turn the car.
FFB settings in game. Strength 95. Track effects 10. Rumblestrips 40. Off track 20. Wheel damper 10. Understeer enhance on. Wheel rotation 360 (I haven’t played with this since setting the steering saturation value.
FFB on Fanatec base. Sen 100 (Edit; change this to Aut and put in game steering sensitivity back to 0). FF 85 (turn it up if you like heavier FF). Sho 50. Abs off (I run in game abs anyways). Drl off. For 100. SPr 100. dPr 100. FEI 20 (too high and everything just rattles from the road surface, 20 for me is just nice with extra ripplestrips feel).

Post up your settings and what wheel you’re using

i dont understand the steering saturation, in the last game i turned my wheel and it worked, why give us an option where the wheels dont match

For different player preference, different wheel models, different wheel sizes.

The lower the steering saturation = the more you have to turn your wheel in your hands to have the game steering wheel turn.
The higher the steering saturation = the less you have to move the wheel in your hands to match the game steering wheel. You could also have the game wheel exceed your steering input with a higher setting.

so u have found that 70% more or less equals 1:1.....that makes no sense either. shouldnt it be 50:50...mine seems to be working on 20%....if urs is 70 and im using 20 on the same wheel how does that work

In 2017, my settings for steering were set so I would only have to turn the wheel about 90 degrees either way for full lock but the sensitivity increased the more steering was applied.
This helped make smaller precise steering inputs, but meant I didn't have to steer as far for tighter inputs

Ok I figured out where I messed this up.
On the wheel I set the Sen to 100 and not Aut. This made the difference. Since changing the wheel back to Sen = Aut I’ve reduced the in game sensitivity to 0 and its a 1:1 ratio.

I run with a big tv, and I love the F1 Championship Edition sense of speed, so I run these settings.

Where do I change the in game ffb? The best I could find was when I was on track and found the menu but only had option of picking wheelbase and rim (couldn't believe it actually had both the Elite and the Formula there) The FFB already feels good after using Spidey's suggested Fanatec settings.

    Edit/ nevermind I got it
