Hey all, been flat out in real life land the last week so hope to get a lot of this adjusted in next few nights......
@beakeroo how are you shaping up this season ??? Will you be there most rounds, or should we have you as a sub given the numbers ? Just looking at possible numbers ! Cheers stu
I'll make most rounds Stu, I just won't get time to practice. Shouldn't be much of a problem though as I think it's an easy car to drive.
Ok guys, Just a quick update....... if you are thinking of joining in the next week, but still dont have your name down, please let us know ASAP....... This car has given some unbelievable racing in the prac rooms so far, and i am hoping that it will be our most competitive, enjoyable season so far. The car is very forgiving, and really promotes close RACING...... The track list has been locked and is loaded for release on Sunday night assuming i get back from Canberra in Time..... A couple of things people need to note in their prac races........ - There will be NO COMPULSORY PITSTOP. This is due to the tyres lasting very well, and holding good pace. Also there is no 2nd tyre option, so not a lot of point coming in to to change onto the same tyre when they are still on pace. - Tyre wear will be accelerated. I tested with Ads on a high wear track, over a race distance, and the pace drop off was minimal, even when they drop to about 65% - We will be having a DRY to WET race, as something different - Twilight race - Enduro with 24HR cycle DIVISION PLACEMENT At this stage everything is still provisional, and things were made more complicated with the addition of 5 new entries. I am reluctant to change to 4 divs, as i really dont want to dilute and have grids of 6 or 7 drivers. As we all know, most weeks there are people away / unavailable, so hopefully with the use of the subs, we can keep the grids full and have some great racing. IF we get more entries this week, then we may revisit it, however 2 or 3 of the new entries don't think they can commit to a full season at this stage, so i think 3 divs is the safest option. - If you are thinking of pulling the pin PLEASE LET US KNOW so one of the subs can take your place. - If you know of anyone that might be keen, let them know we may be able to adjust before R1 to fit them in..... ROOM HOSTS At this stage, with the divs still being provisional, i will host Div 1, maybe @Fudge_Monkey div 2 ? and @Ad2mny for div 3, however we will confirm this after the meet and greet....... If you guys can host if available on Sunday will be a good start.... - be aware there is a SLIGHT chance that due to div adjustments, these room hosts may change Any other changes will let you know, Stu and Ads
@anne would you be able to be primary host again this season, I don’t think my connection is good enough but will happily do room captain and backup host duties.
Do I need to add anyone or will I just get an invite at kick off time? Also what happens at a meet and greet just pra
Make sure you have Anne and myself on your friends list and you will receive an invite once the lobby opens. M&G will run through the tracklist in 5lap races. It’s mostly to make sure we are all in the right division for our pace.
Just a quick one guys, we will look at div adjustments / finalisation in next few days once we get final entries...... I will look tomorrow afternoon at how 4 divs will stack up, especially if we can get a few extra drivers......
@Blandy we can not confirm your psn name please send myself or Anne a psn friend request ASAP so we can add you and invite you to the meet and greet
Thanks Anne for organising the room last night. Was good at some tracks and sh!t at others! Will need some more practice that's for sure. Looking forward to next week.
