    Think there was discussion around testing the car anyway. Its just one race (in between end of trial series and S6)

    yeah, but, you are supposed to test before voting. maybe all votes reset after the test race and start from scratch. trophy v p1 v gr b
    i wonder if the grb got more votes v the p1 than the p1 did v the trophy

    My vote for the Megane won't change. Did 12 or so test laps at Red Bull Ring in the P1 and it's the kind of car that will put me, a mid-pack Div 3/4 driver, off from racing next season. I am not competent enough to drive it competitively and it saps any fun.

    For a comparison I did the same no. of laps at RBR in the R92CP. Was lapping some 10 to 12 secs faster and could rely in braking markers at sensible distances and not being spat off the track at odd moments. My $0.02, YMMV, literally.

    I personally haven't used the car at the moment, but isn't that part of the fun/experience of racing? @Hatfield posted in a different topic earlier around this, and 'not wanting to race because I dont like the car'.
    I sucked with the Mustang in S2, but stuck with it. You did also race 6/7 races in the R92CP to which would add to your 'enjoyment' as you know are experienced with the car. Dont take this personally, just my $0.02 too :)

    I know it’s not the normal way for league seasons, but the P1 seriously responds to suspension set up changes and gear ratios, not to mention power & weight changes.
    Just throwing it out there that maybe some would enjoy it more if we dropped to say 820bhp and minimum weight & allowed tuning (?)

    I'm most likely away that long weekend. Wife's birthday too.
    From what little time I've spent with the car, it just seems it needs better brakes. Braking halfway down a straight to make a hairpin corner hurts my foot.

    I like the sound of that. I did find short shifting tamed it somewhat.

    In GTS if you tune the car to a specified state and then prohibited tuning in the lobby does the tune you set prior to entering the room stick? If so, perhaps one of the tuning gurus out there could provide a tune spec that we can all adopt.

    I take your point. And while the R92 was a beast it was relatively predictable and I "tuned" into it a lot quicker. When you hit the brakes in the R92 it stops as expected and doesn't run on and on like the P1 vis...
