Yeap, after doing some races in it last night with big grids i agree 100%. Fun car, BUT the thing was terrible in dirty air, crashes arent small, and i can definately see half the grid by round 3 ! The Renault V6 was pretty good....GInetta G57 was ok (track day car) Ginetta GT3 ??? Was going to try some others tonight as well..
Ok Guys, Ads and i did a heap of testing last night, and we can confirm the car for Season 6 will be ....................... The RENAULT MEGANE TROPHY V6 We tested in the wet, hot and cold tracks and low grip / high grip tracks, it came through well in all conditions, so after the runs we did over the last few weeks where everyone seemed to like it, Ads and i decided we would bit the bullet and run with it. We will be looking to run with tyre wear on accelerated for people wanting to get in and prac.... probably have a compulsory stop as well to mix things up a little from last season. Its fast, has a bit of oversteer which is easily controllable once you get used to it. In the wet, on a cold track it was great, we tested at Donnington as we ran last season, and wasnt to different to the BMW TC in terms of grip..... Track list will be announced at the meet and greet as usual.....
