Overall pretty happy with both races. Was good confidence boost running top 5 in race 1 especially after the previous 2 rounds. Race 2 as i'd predicted was difficult because everyone overall seemed to have similar pace. Overall pretty solid racing asides from the occasional bump which is to be expected racing as close as we were. See you guys next week presuming the Barcelona 3 Hour doesn't kill me. side note: Im sticking with cockpit view. Lots of instances where it dramatically helped my awareness of where and what the car was doing behind me.
The highest scorer in race 1 gets priority in the final points where there is a tie on points, therefore xl finishes in front of nox and norm finishes ahead of razor.
You might want to have another look Race 1 Noxrai 3rd Xlxy 4th Razor 6th Noremxc 9th The overall order is correct presuming no protests.
Very surprised to end up 3rd overall considering a poor qualifying session and being bogged down in battles for most of the first race. Some better luck in Race 2 meant @groover33 and I could play the team game and help each other. Him holding up @KeedenMcdonald for a few laps at the end made all the difference.
Well, my podium streak is over. Bluemoon always provides chaotic races! I couldn't get a quali lap together and I was about 2 tenths off my PB. Starting race 1 I lost some momentum coming around turn 1 and gave up about 2 positions, had a fight for almost the whole race and murdered my tyres. Then came the 4 wide in to turn 3! No idea how, why, or what happened but I managed to throw one around the outside of turn 3 and hold on to the position.. Race 2 was also chaos. Norm and I teamed up to do something and then he got me on the last lap.
Tough race! Internet was wobbly. I butchered qualifying couldn't get any rhythm in the race and plenty of contact. But it was still a really fun race battling it out from start to finish. I usally only have one decent race a season. Making a half round out of 3 rounds is not helping my odds. Well done top 3. Nice to see ssman has still got it. All of a sudden it feels like a battle for 3rd lol.
Side note. I have been having a lot of trouble with gtsport lately. It keeps staying black screen on the main menu. Sometimes it takes a few seconds sometimes a minute. Other times it just won't load the screen or something. I can hear the menu music. So frustrating. Anyone have a clue whats happening?
I had similar issues just as i started to get involved with the renault test races. A lot of times it wouldn't even load me into gtsport no matter how long i waited. I had to restart my playstaion 5 times at one stage to load it. 2 options that may or may not help, I did both of these just in case which seemed to do the trick: 1st: exit the game and refresh/update your cloud saves in your ps4 settings. If that doesn't solve the issue then try below 2nd: boot up in safe mode and rebuild database. let me know if the database rebuild works as mine can take some time also with that semi black screen on loading into GTS
I found if I just left it, it would load the screensaver sort of thing. And then you could exit that and you would be back at a normal home page. Now, it doesn’t do it.
It starting to play up when I leave a online lobby back to the main menu sometimes too. Other times it won't load the main menu or screen saver. It only started happening around a week ago. It has no problem with 2K19 at all.
I was thinking maybe delete the game application first and redownload it. If that does nothing I will rebuild the database.
If you do that you will have to re-download all of the updates again. IIRC that’s at least 20GB of updates.
