I was happy to be with in a second lol seriously, considering the practice I had. I think the old hyundia may have a little potential after a bit more practice and tuning. A better driver would be easier lol. It was a fun qualifying session. I think it will be a amazing race.

Qual Summary:
First 5 laps: 44.6 (same time as the lap I posted on full fuel, despite car feeling way better on no fuel)
Next 3 laps: 44.2, 44.2, 44.2

No doubt people went faster and beat that time, saw some scary good splits when I went for a peek. Consistency around here is very tough though, so qualifying is kind of misleading where 1 good lap can mask the other 9 rubbish ones.

Wasn't your 3rd lap already 1:43.79 or something? I was expecting you to smash that time over the remaining 40 mins.
I saw someone had 29.3 in S1 and I know Mint had a few tenths on me in S3 so I'm really surprised to have only just been pipped by one driver.

Truth be told I don't think a Gold rank would have stopped you getting pole anyway. 4 tenths clear and the +3% ballast would only be worth 40kg. That's pole either way based on my estimates. You've done a mega job the tune the car to your style and get the most of it, regardless of rank you've pulled a blinder of a lap and really earned that top spot.

@NAACS I disqualified you as you disregarded my instructions regarding car choice, and failed to submit a lap time at the end.

Now someone is keen to join with the M6, you need to make a decision within 24 hours of what car you are going to use in the secondary reserve garage. I can’t have people flip flopping between cars mid qualifying when I made it clear that wasn’t allowed.

I set a decent lap, thinking I will find myself in the top 5 and I wake this morning to have a look see and NOTHING...NOTHING I TELL YOU

Not enough time to tune car past a 1.46.061 in the time required.
