    @JAKO155 I can't seem to find you on Psn. Can you let me know what your Psn is so you can join the lobby on Sunday?
    Also the PSN name change complicates finding old or existing players.

    @Hatfield me too!

    Though last meetngreet we did racing hard and it was later modified to allow different types...meetngreet might provide good data for the variations possible

    definitely no thanx on the full damage. Your race can be absolutely ruined by some one else's mistake or even a slight error of your own can cause heartache. Being forced to pit out of sequence to fix it can rally ruin your race strategy.

    I didn’t click that meet and greet was tonight. Playstations not setup in my rig, and haven’t had a chance to see if i have the car as of yet, so will give it a miss tonight.

    Sounds a lot like real racing to me.

    I think heavy damage works well to ensure there are no ridiculous dive bombs etc, however with no ‘safety issues’ as it isn’t real life, I feel it could be a negative change. Someone getting their braking point wrong could end your race.

    But, I’m always open to see what might work at tonight’s mng.

    Edit: I started posting one side of the coin and changed to the other. I’d be down for full damage.

    With Adelaide United having a home final, and the FFA scheduling the game for 6:30pm local time on SUNDAY, I wont be making round 1 :(:(:(:(:(:(

    Why on earth would they schedule a game for 6:30 on a sunday night!?!?

    My calcs for Suzuka make it 24 laps, 23 laps is only and average of 1:57. Div 1 will probably be doing 1:52 s so 24 laps more likely. I haven't done any calcs for the other circuits but will get to them

    :thumbsup:

    Great start to things, great to be able to get started on testing...looks like medium use will open the option of no stoppers in some races...does medium only have to apply to sprint round too, softer tyres might be able to last there more easily?

    I guess no heavy damage is good...says the pragmatist in me...though damage is more realistic racing, putting a heavy premium on not staying out of peoples way. However, as we found at meetngreet, first corner light rubbing can apparantely result in heavy engine damage...would hate for minor stuff to impact someones whole night so dramatically. Perhaps one day the damage algorithms will be refined...until then no damage it is.

    Good luck all!

    @Tristan Jones in the div 1 M&G @Noremac and I found out the hard way that heavy damage can't be done.

    Coming in to spoon I thought I had just missed my braking marker and just drifted off after the first apex. Turns out norm has given me the lightest of taps (i couldn't feel a thing through my wheel) and it gave me a decent amount of rear diffuser damage.

    The mediums give away to much lap time to the softs to make a one stopper viable, everyone will be doing to stoppers I'm sure.
