    Qaulified 3rd
    Finished 5th
Started the race thinking I was a chance for 2nd or 3rd. By the end of the first stint it changed to defending of Pubs16 and Hatfield for 5th.
Shot my self in the foot on the first stint not saving enough fuel. Then decided to make the lap back up on the mediums. It was enough to put me back traffic. Still my fault. I didn't get the most out of the car at all.
Over driving it way to much. My back was killing half way through. Old burnsy was feeling it lol.
I still ended up having a pretty fun scrap with Hatfield. I just managed to stay ahead hanging on to 5th.
    Congratulations Keeden Bryan and ssman

Qualified last of the soft tyre starters, but got away ok only to give @Pubs16 a tap out of T1 (Sorry)
Once he had gotten going again, I settled in behind and tried to look for an overtaking opportunity which came a few laps later.
We caught up to @Noxrai and a tap at the chicane under brakes from pubs pushed me into nox, luckily he didn't go off track and I set off as they battled behind.

With the differing strategies I wasn't sure where I was most of the race.
Had a little battle with @Russell when he switched to mediums and I was on softs and got passed him, then had the opposite when we switched compounds on the next stint.

For the final stint, we came out of the pits with him ahead by 6s and I closed to within half a second for 2/3's of the stint, but I couldn't find enough to get a passing opportunity and in the end he pulled away on the final 2 laps.

Well after a month of not touching GT Sport, i was definitely feeling a little rusty. Definitely needed a few practice laps to get the feel back. I had forgotten how understeery this car is on throttle.

Then getting out qualified by people on a slower compound put a damper on my feelings of progress. I reserved myself for another lonely race. Was slightly unsure what pit strategy i was aiming for too. I really need more practice in this teir of racing.

Kept my nose clean at the start as @Hatfield and Pubs had a misshap into the first corner. Tried my darndest to keep up with the guys in front, but i found i just was not as sharp in some corners. Mainly the fast chicane up the hill and i also noticed i was braking too early and late into the final chicane (couldn't get it right). So everyone pulled away, and it didn't take long for Hatfield and Pubs to catch back up with me. I got to do a little fun defending from Hatfield, but i knew it wouldn't take too long for him and pubs to find a way through. They both eventually got through. I watched them slowly sail away from my sights.
Jono must of been having a horrid session as he ended up behind me at some point. You should have hung in there. You would have caught me at least.

The rest of the race was just by myself trying to improve my laptimes. Did my fastest lap just after keedan lapped me. So thanks for giving me something to chase for a lap.

Congrats to keeds and bryan and ssman.

Hopefully by next weekend i might have a new wheel and peddles to play with and get used to. I can at least maybe use them as an excuse for why im off the pace lol

I am away overseas for round 6 and 7.

@Bryan_F @JonoStan96 are you guys ok to host?

Also, could I please get a hand up to organise a possible merge between div 1 and 2 if the numbers are 15 or lower total on either night?

Thrilled with another 4th place finish, but I could well have taken the last podium spot if it weren’t for some small mistakes and a slight error in fuel calculations.

Went my usual opposite strategy to everyone else and it worked out pretty well as I spent a lot of time in clean air, stopping 4 times.
Made overtakes here and there whenever I caught another car, but it was a pretty lonely race yet again.
The final stint saw me about 5-6 seconds behind ssman. I got the gap to within 2 seconds at the finish but I couldn’t reel him in any more than that.

A flawless drive again from Keeden and a smart race from Bryan, well done.

I won’t be racing next round as I’ll be watching the State of Origin (hopefully on the beers if I’ve got Monday off)

    Cheers fellas

Qually: Found a Rhythm in qualifying and snagged 2nd which I was chuffed with.
Race: Held position and fended off Russel early before the first pit sequence. The Mediums were hell, I did no laps on them before the race and it showed as Bryan came out ahead on his Softs and pulled away as I made mistake after mistake trying to stay in a straight line half spinning twice which eventually cost me 2nd once it came full circle. A few weeks off the sim showed, still good fun keeping the gap to Razor and trying to catch Bryan in the end

    Round 6: Dragon Trail - Gardens II - 31 laps - 13:00 Cloudy- 23/6

As always please take 2 mins to read the following so you have an understanding of what is expected on race night......If you have any questions, or want clarification on any of the rules or regs please ask !

ROOM OPEN : Most room captains will 'try' to have rooms open by about 7:50 AEST. Please be on time, or let the room captain or div thread if you may be late. If all agree, the room may wait for you, Within reason. Please remember we have drivers from NZ, and later starts mean a much later night for them.
QUALIFYING : 8:20 AEST for 10 mins (NO PITSTOPS ALLOWED IN QUALIFYING - if you do pit during qualifying, you must start rear of grid). Once 10 mins has been reached, finish the lap you are on and park up off track.
RACE START TIME : 8:30 AEST (once qualifying has finished)

LAG ISSUES / ROOM RESTARTS : This is up to the room host. If there is a Disconnection (or cars stuck on grid) at race start, it is sporting to try to get them back in, which may mean a new room to be set up. I always look at 1 or 2 starts if required due to DSC, but as it gets later everyone needs to be aware of getting things going. Please be as reasonable as you can with this....
SIGHT ISSUES: Ensure that you can see everyone on track. After qualifying, exit to lobby and spend 30 seconds in spectate mode, scroll through the list of drivers on track and make sure that you can see their car. If you can't see somebody (and they are confirmed as being on track), exit the lobby, re-join, and check again. It can also be done pre-qualifying to save time if there is no chance of latecomers.

FALSE START CHECK : Please note that the start type is Grid Start with False Start Check
Please practice this so you know what to expect. Simply, you hold the brakes on until the lights go from all lit, to none lit

TURN 1 LAP 1 : This has the potential to ruin someones night if we don't use our heads ! Should be everyone's goal to get through the first phase with ZERO contact. Give room and run in your 'lane' till you have space to run the normal race line. If your unassisted tap causes someone to spin, you need to redress.

TRACK LIMITS : As we are running with 'track limit penalties" OFF, we will run with our usual Raceonoz track limit regulations. This means you MUST have at least 2 wheels on the ripple strip OR white line that defines the track limit. If you do make a mistake and have to run outside the limits, be aware that you are not allowed to gain any advantage.

CONTACT : Is to be avoided at all times..... If you rear end someone and gain an advantage, YOU ARE EXPECTED to give the spot back. Side by side 'rubbing' is racing, within reason, but all drivers are expected to give racing room.
If you bump someone and they end up off track or teleport back to the corner entry, you must wait for them to rejoin and get back up to speed.
Show each other RESPECT! It is difficult enough to drive the car at the limit on your own, without someone squeezing you within a millimeter of the grass.
So be patient and show respect to your fellow drivers.

TYRES : You must start on the Tyre you qualify on (NO PITSTOPS ALLOWED DURING QUALIFYING). You must use one set of RACING MEDIUM tyres during the race. (no limit on the amount of RACING SOFT tyres).

PIT ENTRY : Drivers MUST make an attempt to use the pit entry / exit lines.
PIT EXIT : Please use the pit exit lane and be aware of cars approaching T1.
    NOTE: Pitting is NOT compulsory

BLUE FLAGS : Please observe blue flags, and move out of the way of faster cars if you are being lapped. Failure to observe blue flags WILL result in a penalty

STEWARDS GROUP AND RACE PROTESTS : This season the stewards will be will be @@Hatfield @@JonoStan96 @@Viperzed & @@emmo46. If you have reason to protest, please SAVE YOUR REPLAY, and then let us know via a PM.
DO NOT BLOW UP IN THE FORUM OR IN THE ROOM CHAT. There have been multiple incidents where the replays from drivers have been different, so its true that sometimes things are not as black and white as they may seem. You have until MIDNIGHT, Monday night to register your protest via PM. We will ask for video evidence from both drivers or room captain to make any decision.

SAVE YOUR REPLAY : If the room host can ask all drivers to save their replay would be good before exiting the room.....once they exit out and the option goes, it cant be retrieved !

FINAL NOTE: Could all drivers please confirm their attendance for this Sunday by 'liking' this post in your division. If you are unable to attend, please post in reply as much in your division. This way we can figure out our reserves or if the room can start early in advance.

    Stoked! First ever div1 win.
Cheap as with more then half the field missing. But I couldn't care less. I am chalking it up :)
It was a really hard fought win. Groover had a lot of speed. He qaulified P2 and did a one stopper and really made me earn it. He had a good sniff at winning the race. Great race Groover

Couldn't get a good lap in qualifying to save my life. Ended up just in front of jono and whiz who were on the mediums.
Had a cautious start and got stuck on the outside of the million apex corner, compromising my line and eventually moved down to last near the end of the lap.
Next few lap was me just trying to find my groove an gain confidence. Had a bit a blunder trying to follow moozer into the first corner and ended up pushing him wide as we entered. Sorry. I'm still getting used to my new brake peddle. I made it so i need to push harder for 100%. We then had a good battle for a good chunk of laps as i was slowly gaining confidence in the car. Ended up getting past moozer as he made a slight mistake coming out onto the straight. After that i was able to stretch my legs and find my groove.
Set my sights on trying to catch bigkev and bryanf who were neck and neck after im sure was a surprise mistake from bryan. To my surprise i slowly gained. I was putting in some great times. Had a slow in and out lap while pitting so basically lost all the time i had gained. Put in some solid laps on the mediums and was doing ok. Holdenman and moozer were catching me though.

A couple laps to go and i started to lose my concentration. Lap 29 i drifted to wide on the million apex corner and met the grass, holding on, i just saved it, but as i was coming back onto the tarmac my left tyres found too much traction and i spun around. Damn. All my hard work going down the drain.
Lap 31 i was over cautious going into the same corner, didn't have enough speed this time and was cutting the apex to tight. One of the rumble strip sent me flying and i went careening into a wall. Double damn. Everyone is now in front of me.
What a horrible end to what i thought was maybe going to be my strongest race. But it wasn't to be. I had a blast with my new wheel though and had some good racing finally

Anyway congrats to russell, groover and bryan on the podium. A wins a win russell, you did great!

Wow what a race last night. I was pretty confident on a good position as I've had some good pace even on the harder tyre but wasn't sure how my pace would stack up against Div 1 boys, Qualifying 2nd with a 1:26.9 was a good start.
Had a good start and almost took 1st after the first corner but decided to play it safe and go around the outside to give a bit of race room to Russell. After a few laps me and Russell had pulled a nice gap to the others then i had to pull back and start fuel saving. I just had to keep him in my sights.
I had a strategy to do 17 laps on softs and the rest on Mediums but i stuffed up and pitted at the end of 16 which left me 1 lap short on fuel which i had to fuel save.
I seen Russell go in for his 2nd stop which put me back in 1st and that give me hope to possibly win the race. But wasn't long before he got within a 1 sec and I thought well I tried but next min he made a mistake and had fallen another 6 sec behind. There was only 3 laps to go when I had to start saving for my 1 lap of fuel, then Russell got past and i knew I couldn't keep up with him as he had too much pace. Just running out of fuel coming past the pit entrance saw me coming 2nd but what a race.

Big thanks to div 1 for letting us race with you, we all had a blast. And Congrats to BigChopperDog for his 1st div 1 win.
