DIVISION 2 - SEASON 8

You might not be doing it on purpose, but someone else in the family might be!

Lol and the funny thing is I was fine for father's day. There's a small chance that I might be available but that depends on me not drinking.

I was good to race fathers day too.

Unfortunately I won't be racing on Sunday night, I'm going camping. When I booked the trip I didn't realise that we weren't racing on Father's Day. That will teach me not to read all of Stu's posts properly.

Just to confirm the Barkley with talent is in the AGT GF. (Very proud of her and her team)

Bit disappointing to only have 7 starters at the enduro.

My race wasn’t the greatest, Q:5, R:3. Had some good laps & battles, then a few spins, 10 sec pit penalty, then some good laps, then some more spins. Another Seb Vettel impression had me 8 seconds ahead of 4th with 2 laps to go. A mad dash at the end to get far enough ahead at the end to hold position, was able to get just far enough to hold on.

Thanks for the racing this season guys. Has been some great races & battles throughout. See you in a few weeks.

such a pity about finishing off the season with only 7 starters.

Anyway, a great season finish for me considering this was my first official win since starting league racing (woohoo).
I had a couple of spins but pitted on lap 19 and filled with fuel and fitted soft boots to get me through the night....it paid off. I ended up catching the field and hit the lead inside the next 11 laps. Not knowing how the tyres will last in the daylight I took the risk and it worked, the tyres didn't go 'off' at all, instead I was maintaining pace throught the entire race.

Great car, great tracks, thanks to all that attended. Bring on Season 9

Well done Bounty on the series win and congratulations to Jim and Rob taking out the podium.
I thought it was a great series and had some good battles mid pack.
