Thought I'd throw up a video of the modification I made to my CSL Elite + rim to add a quick release to it. Thanks to @SteveDrivingSlowly for 3D printing it.

I've tested it for an hour or so and it's perfect mate. The clamp cost me $5 on eBay. Much better than the other options of buying a new wheel when I actually liked this one or buying a converter from a guy in Europe that cost $160.

Once I've tested it a bit more I reckon you should stay selling them on eBay ;)

What’s the advantage of quick release..is it to change rims while racing or something because it only takes me
30 seconds to unscrew and change rims as it is.

I don't keep a screwdriver or key on hand so I have to get up in a dark room, turn the light on, go to my tool chest and get the key out, unscrew and then switch the wheels over. It's about being faster and more efficient. Also I'm using the rig for steam games now and the wheel is in the way at the bottom of the screen when I do this so now I can remove it in 5s and not go through the above procedure.

Fair enough. Thought there might have been another advantage over speed is all...cool cheap workaround

Any GTUltimate rig owners here have the keyboard/mouse tray or have a good idea on how to mod the rig to mount a keyboard somewhere? I have a button box and 10" tablet on the sides of my wheel right now so can't do anything there really but I see that Next Level sell a swing around tray, just wondering how sturdy it can be.

That must have been updated the other day when you linked me to it on the discord as I already have that version

Really happy with the whole setup tonight, everything is working 100% I even picked up some more frames by disabling game mode and the xbox game bar crap in windows.

Good to know. I'm still waiting for Fanatec to send my replacement wheel to me (so painful). Looks like a great addition though.

Which wheel are you using Incey? Check the pins on the back to make sure one isn't damaged.

had issues with the original formula rim, so bought the ascher paddle replacement kit... but we had a way better exchange rate at the time...

Did you sell that with your Formula rim when you upgraded to the new Formula rim?

Yeah I recalled you were selling, I have a formula rim that I've only used a few times anyway. I was just wondering about the paddle upgrade.

Rift S arrives today, early day from work gonna happen. Family have gone away for 4 nights!
