Come on, you can't seriously be expecting to stay in div 2 after coming 2nd because you can't cope with running midfield
if Noxrai TKM mCnEIL and Banna are still there then its going to be competitive to say the least. All the while remembering that without the benefit of a tow these guys are as fast if not faster than you, so maybe in truth you should think of joining Division 2 instead... Just saying like, as you like to do a lot of talking.
Wouldn't be against getting put down a div, but i'm sure as hell not gonna chuck the sads because i'm still in div 1
Doesn’t feel like that long ago when being promoted to Div 1 was the bees-knees around here; the pinnacle of racing at ROOZ. To see people shun the opportunity now makes me a little sad and reminisce the glory days of Div 1 GT Sunday league.
It makes everyone sad in a small way thinking of those days. Que sera, sera But those that have been around a long time do remember those days. I like the competition in div2. I like the professionalism. But this is just my personal opinion. I’m not here to besmirch div1 or anyone in it. I have just always seen div2 as better.
Div1 is definitely still the pinnacle. Always said I would rather race in Div1 and come last (did that well) than race in Div2. But Div1 is definitely more aggressive all the way to the back of the grid. Naacs is possibly the most respectful driver I have raced against, don't even remember swapping paint. I think it is up to him to decide whether he will enjoy racing in Div1 or not, doesn't diminish Div1 if he doesn't.
No point replying to any one particular message. But at my age. What I do and don’t do at Raceonoz is entirely my business and only Hatfield has any influence on my choices. It’s always been that way and always will be for me. But this puerile banging on by other people does amuse me. Life is too short to be concerned by the banter of others. Just so you know I don’t miss out on quality by remaining in Div2. Nor do I take A place away from anyone.
Time to put this to bed. Once the entry list for next season is up, we can look at who would fit in whatever division. If you're quick enough to be in division 1, you will be in division 1. If there are 15 guys faster than you, you will find yourself in division 2. No discussion.
