And me. Without the drop round @Dazza83 and I would have switched places. It's an interesting tactical consideration, deliberately not racing a round so that your dropped points are zero. But I suppose the ultimate answer is practice, improve, produce better results.

It's not tactical... If you don't race, the best you can score is 0 Sure you drop that round, but if you don't do so well elsewhere, or disconnect later in the season, that score stays with you since you already drop the worst round of 0 If you do race, and do ok, but then disconnect later in the season, you can then drop the worse round
I don't know that any one did, I was just commenting that should you be in a position to say win or place and your score was close to a rival's such that your drop round would see you lose out, you might consider not racing.
my drop round was always round 2, was flying somewhere over Australia at the time. I didnt want to race the enduro but doing so def cost me 1 champ position and possibly 2.
Maybe I misunderstand how the drop round works? I assumed you just don't count your worst round, so whether that's a few points or zero doesn't matter?
that is true, there is no point in not running a round so that you don't drop one. You could actually better your worst round to that point and drop a bad round for a better one.
You only need to be Moozer145 after drpped round to be unbeatable for the championship. Interestingly of the 6 rounds you did you beat me 5 to 1 but I was still ahead in points even after I dropped a round. I made the deciding points when you weren't there.
