Division 2 season 10

I watched the replay of the little 5 lap race we had the other night.
Mustafur dropped two 2,06 laps, 1 after the other, not sure how he makes it look so easy 8)
his car looked and sounded like he was on soft tyres not mediums - i guess that's what makes a Div 1
driver.

I think with my driving style, i'll forced to do a 2 stop. Despite the fact I can't even break into the 2:09's. I just haven't got the pace. Many of corners just on forever and i'm either heading into fast or i'm getting mid corner oversteer. This will be a very tough race.

I thought everyone would do a 2 stop? 1 stop seems too slow

What time do we start? Is it an early start this week?

still reckon you'd have to go too slow to one stop-i'm pretty smooth when i'm driving and im not even getting that fast times and pitting on lap 20 seems too far away.

I feel like Jenson Button last year at the moment. Truly dominant the first race, nothing going right afterwards.
I didn't expect much in quali, being nearly 3 seconds off the pace. Well done to natman taking his first pole position. Well done man!

Starting an inevitable last, I tried to make another incredible start. Up to 3rd after one lap, I was grinning from ear to ear. I needed to make moves as much as possible, as in clear air I was nowhere. I benefitted from 2 disconnections, which sucked major ones for grooves and someone else. I pitted one lap after beannie, fearing he would undercut everone. But that was to be my undoing. After that, my race was ruined. Out of sync, no pace and a pure lack of concentration made for a pretty abysmal race. I'll take 7th as a gift. Since I underfuelled the car and didn't put hards on, i was forced to 3 stop. Not a happy camper. Well done stu, your strategy was perfect. You've kept our Div 2 tradition alive by becoming the 5th different winner. I fear my season may be over, but with so many missing out in the next two races, hope is not lost. I need to take maximum points in the next two. Onto Autumn Ring Reverse, a track that will certainly be a tyre eater. I plan to get alot more practise in this week, but with so much homework to do, that may not be possible.
