GT Sport Season 12 Practice Races - Info and Signup

Yeah I wasn't on my game last night lol. Turned up as I saw there was a problem with numbers and felt guilty for not coming lol. I should have dropped out after round one. Throat is a lot more sore today lol. Gotta love working when ya feel like crap.

Other than my pretty bad performance last night, I did actually enjoy the car and the close racing that came from it. Though as with fast cars, the quicker guys take off and leave the field. It's a fun car, feels like you're driving a very grippy car even on hards.

The way I raced for most of last night that wasn't an issue lol.

In saying that though, there was some very close racing mid to back pack - at times 4-5 of us all following and without incident. Was quite enjoyable to watch

The GT-R is great fun to race but it requires a lot of concentration to drive. Especially in the pack where the slightest slip-up can cost you a place or two. Going side-by-side is particularly scary through the high speed corners. I love it. This is the hard racing that I'm after and the car makes a pretty strong case for selection this season.

Never been a fan of this car but it has grown on me. Racing is so close yet the slightest mistake can cost you a lot of time.
For me, I thought the RS tyres gave the best racing. I was way off the pace on hard's and not much better on the mediums.

Lasts nights racing was a lot of fun. Car is good on all compounds. But I also think Yamagiwa is probably one of less punishing circuits in GT Sport.(although it still punished me in race 3!)


As for the RE Amemiya RX7 at Laguna Seca on SH or even SM,

@Hatfield I know this is a bit late, but if we use this review process in future it may be a good idea to not pick tracks that hide a cars weakness if you want to avoid people leaving mid-season. Laguna is the perfect track for the RX7 which will disguise its flaws. This should be being tested at somewhere like Tokyo so we can evaluate if the highway gearing is going to impact racing.

Same can be said for the last 2 track choices. Both were the most ideal combination which gives false hope for both cars.
