Yes add me please. Do you have all tracks 3 starred yet? I'm only half way through. f'ing sick of being dsq after winning career races with no explanation.
I don't have all tracks three starred yet no... I haven't actually spent a whole lot of time on it - still crook. And the time I did spend on it was in Career and they can take a while - especially if you have an off or something and want to restart lol I couldn't tell you about the DSQ problems though - I've only had the one problem with the pits which I didn't get any more. Have you reported it on their bugs page? or looked into why you might be getting dq?
I did two career races last night and had no issues apart from wrecking the car into the pit lane fence lol
Did you keep it eassy on the pit travelling? ie keeping it below and not flooring the pedal throughout to and from the pit stop?
Add me @Xtr3meNZer I need to get better at Brands Hatch. Tried a few laps in the Macca 650S and turned it round a few times, including last corner of last lap against the A.I. Trying the Career out now. Got the day off work!
i think the last dsq was because i was too aggressive leaving the box. speedo might have gone over 50 but only cause I was doing a burnout. A message from race control would be nice
Started a career, though think I might restart. Did the first few Monza events (night time sucks BTW, can't see anything especially braking markers going into Ascari!) and game suggested "easy" level and "short". I decided to increase it to "normal" and "medium" to make it a bit more challenging, but first Zolder practice and qually I am a good 1sec+ faster than the field and race 1 and 2 are both 40 minute races. So yeah, might restart and set to "hard" and "short". By the way, loving the V12 Vantage!
So far, just running the "stable" setups and only tinkering with tyre pressure aiming for a 27.5-28 psi window and reducing fuel to 18 L and brake pad #1. Anyone tried comparing the "aggressive" setups or played with anything else yet?
I went and found the wheel rotation settings for all the cars to match the wheel movement. But I'm still finding a lack of feel with what the car is doing. I still need to do a lot of laps to understand it better. But going back to PC2 feels like a warm bed on a cold night compared to bashing your knuckles on a cold morning that is ACC.
Make sure you have all settings on not just on multiplayer or you will waste 6 hours of your life not achieving anything in game.
my suggestion was easy as well but set it to normal ai with extreme realism. did the short version so 20 min races. I'm faster than the ai everywhere except the pits. usually lose 15-20 secs over the other cars. really makes it hard to get the win. i'm driving the jag.
Spot on sorry forgot to say ratings..mine was on multiplayer only so everything I did in career, practice and single player modes didn’t count for any rating points. And without them you can’t play online
