GT-Sport Bathurst Tribute 2020 - (18/10/2020)

Can someone who's doing lap times of 2 mins or less pm me their sector times please? I'm struggling to do 2:02's atm, I'm hoping I can improve a bit if I have something to aim for around the track. Cheers team.

I am really looking forward to next Sunday, and hope the handicaps lead to 2 exciting races that unfold continually.
The grid handicaps are set and final for both rooms.
I have erred in favor of the lower divisions slightly. I have done that because most community races are dominated by the higher divisions.
Room 2 will only have an adjustment if we get a 16th on the grid.
**Could you please "like" the OP to confirm your attendance, and to confirm that you have read the OP, and know your starting time/handicap without any doubt.

I'll be doing some practice throughout the week - Tonight and tomorrow I will be hitting ACC - so Wed onwards I will be smashing Bathurst.

Surely not? I've just grabbed a Supercars livery off "Discover"

No any number ok, and it gives the choice to race with whatever livery appeals to you, and/or as Ursine has done you can grab a supercars livery.

Edit: I searched for too long about 3 weeks ago but found almost exactly what I was looking for which was a version of Peter Brock's Mobil 05 , he will always be my racing hero because of my young age during his dominance of the mountain.
I eventually found a awesome Mobil HDT Commodore version apart from getting the base purple/blue a bit wrong. Can't use it in practice cos I might ruin the paint job and I want to save it as a special livery for the night.

Cool, then I'll run my Allan Moffat XC Cobra livery...

I have messaged in the PSN chat, but thought I would post in here also - looking at doing a half length race tonight, with half the handicap starting time delays if anyone is keen. Tyre and fuel to be the same, just half length (14 laps)

Probably kick off at 8.30 AEDT (that's the time that's two hours behind me (10.30pm) yes?). I will have a room open earlier also doing some shorter sprint style races (maybe the same as what GasMonkey was doing last night, half a tank of gas, 7 laps).

Feel free to come on and join in if you're keen, bring on Sunday!

Very glad for the staggered starts here. Last night with the smaller sprint races with everyone going at the same time - appears that some people think turn 2, lap 1 is where the race is won... Not forgetting, that it's a 7 lap sprint race, and there is plenty of opportunity further on in the race, not turn 2, lap 1...

If I'm not on the mountain tonight, I'll definitely be on tomorrow for some practice, and some lobby jumping

I am drinking tonight, I am racing tonight, I'm feeling some Bathurst practice as we have been doing, then doing some lobby jumps later in the evening. I feel there is likely to be a few rooms up being Bathurst weekend!
