With under a month until SPCC takes off, teams and privateers are no doubt starting to look at getting there liveries sorted. So I thought I would post a reminder in regards to livery regulations.

    Hi all,

I'll be opening a room up on Friday for some practice for this SPCC series. Will be looking at running the "Sprint" race rules with a few tracks. I encourage all that haven't had a good chance at this to come along as it will be good to get all the rules sorted out, and some practice for the up coming series.

Hope to see a few on :)

I assume given the high tyre wear rates that pits will be open during qualifying? And it's the normal 10 minute qualifying period?

Also in the sprint rounds, is the second race reverse grid?

Apologies if I've missed the answers to these questions somewhere

    Hey mate,

No questions are stupid questions. Endurance races will have 10 min qualifying periods, sprint rounds will be 5 mins (though I think the initial qualifying may be 10 mins, the 2nd race has a 5 min qual). No reverse grid, the 2nd race in the sprints will be decided by another quick qualifying round between races.
Any use of tyre is permitted (softs or mediums), and pits are open.

This is in the OP, hidden in with the room specs and such.

Can we run the qualifying in practice mode to make it easier to switch tyres between quali and race?

I would assume this will be the case for this series, with the varying tyre requirements etc - I will confirm and get back to you.

The OP doesn't specify rain or sunny for 6.30 Spa? I didn't even notice the sunny option and have been testing in the rain so please tell me it's the wet round!

How about we flip a coin the week before the race to decide? :sneaky:

Or we could do what Penguin has been doing on ACC and check the weather forecast the week before... run whatever the weather gods decide...

I'd prefer Dry myself lol. but if the actual weather on the day is wet...
