I got a good start off the line to lead the race and while guys fought behind I stretched out a small lead over @groover33 & @ReynHC . Once he had passed groover and gotten away, he started to reyn me in (sorry not sorry) I defended a little then pitted lap 13 to try and undercut, but he had too much pace and came out of his pitstop a few laps later ahead of me. Circulating I couldn't close the gap and groover started to make inroads behind. The final few laps we had a good tussle and I positioned myself defensively to hold him off until the line Good to be on the podium again for the first time in a while in sunday league
It is not often that people say that they are happy with 11th and i don't think I have ever said it before.... but I am. Started P14 and knew i didn't have the pace to do anything very quickly so just tried not hit anybody or get in anyone's way. No major offs just a few time i out braked myself but during the last 10 or so laps i managed to hold position and maintain a gap of 5-6 secs to the car behind me... that is what probably gave me the most enjoyment for the night. Division 2 definitely not for me!!!
Round 2 drivers list updated in OP We at least need a Room Host out of the 16 round 2 drivers please guys. @Viperzed can help you with room setup if you are not sure what to do
Darn it, the collision with Tubbster has put me into Room 3. I don't think it was entirely my fault, but I'd rather lose 17 seconds then get whacked with a 30 second penalty. It is what it is. I should be able to get back into Room 2 if I have a good race this week. Also, I feel like a coward now because VARDZ beat me and will stay in Room 2. Still, it's only the first race and qualifying will revert back to it's normal format next time out!
Good job on redressing the contact. Gotta put your head down now to have the chance to beat @VARDZ the week after... if you can!
