Based on the qualifying, which was very tight, the series has the potential to be a hard fought affair. Let the games begin...!
Will I get dropped to Div 3 because of my pathetic time on Tokyo Expressway? Or will it been seen as an outlier considering that I was very close to the top on the other 2 tracks?
I generally go by the 2 most consistent of the 3 results in times but like we said, divs will be based on Qually plus historical data
There were a lot of guys on average slower than you over the night so I doubt you will be going to div 3.
looks like only @Blunty075 showed up but I didn't realise until afterwards that it was his second attempt. Ultimately we want the closest divisions possible so it's just more data to make the right decision in the end.
Remember it being a big issue a while back when someone had to have an extra 30 mins to qualify due to technical issues, and this is just someone having a whole re-qualify... Oh wells, whatever goes. So long as I guess everyone has the opportunity to retry if they feel like they didn't perform how they thought they would?
if you like... I didn't say I would take the new times in place of the old ones though also I think the last time this was an issue was with the fluid divs where R1Q set the Round 1 grid
Yeah, wasn't last season, but the season before. Eh, doesn't bother me, just thought it strange that someone that's already qualified was doing it again. I don't need to requalify lol, I'm happy with my times - be interesting to see where I place, and the competition this season.
As usual the times from Mid D2 to Mid D4 are pretty close. If we could chuck all those people into a single room, that would be some fraking tight racing.
I WASN'T QUALIFYING TWICE! I just turned up because I'm a room host/captain. Wasn't sure if I needed to have a room ready, so I turned up ready to have a room ready. As it turned out I didn't need to have a room up and there was plenty of room in Hatfield's room so I joined in. I didn't see the harm in it and I still don't. If I was to qualify twice I would only be making things harder for myself anyway and I don't want that because it already hard enough.
