FYI we do still have an iRacing team, in the process of choosing which car to run at N24 which starts on the 9th of April. We are also 2 rounds in to the 2022 V8SCOPS championship which includes the V8s along with Porsche Cup and 2L Tourers as support categories. Our team has 10 drivers competing in 1 or more of those categories. We’re also 3 rounds into season 2 of the Apex Hunters United endurance series, which is a league run by Shane Van Gisbergen and Nick Foster. For anyone that is interested in racing with more Aussie content, we now have Winton added in the latest update and will most likely be getting Sandown mid year.

Round 3 of V8 Supercars Online Premier Series (V8SCOPS) we head to the fast flowing Mosport in Canada, 3 chances to Qualify with the 3 nights of Pre Qual which will involve 4 lap runs over each 3 nights to set the splits for the Sunday Race, hopefully we can get all 5 of our entries in this round. Supporting the regular Supercars action this round we have the 2L tourers (TCR) which should see us have 4 Hyundai Elantra TCR entered, with Cruise Mason, Benjamin Faulkner, Pete Minett and Isaac Edwards at the wheel. 2L Tourers action will be shown on Friday Night.

The Logitech G Pro Invitational Series kicked off on Wednesday with 40 of Australia's top simracers competing in the ten round championship. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to race and represented the iRacing Raceonoz Team. I managed to put in a solid time for qualifying and started in 26th. After a good first lap and a solid strategy I ended up crossing the line in 22nd. Check out the race here: https://www.facebook.com/ProInvitationalSeries https://www.supercarsproinvitational.com.au/
Round 2 of the Logitech G Pro Invitational Series took us to Winton Motor Raceway for two 32 lap sprint races. Due to the nature of the track, passing is always going to be very difficult which puts a huge emphasis on qualifying pace and strategy. Despite being first out of the pits qualifying didn't go as planned as I wasn't able to piece together a solid lap. Starting 31st meant that race engineer @Pringles_947 and I would have to pull off a good strategy if we wanted to move up the field. Anticipating the flood of undercuts for track position, we decided to pit right on the halfway mark for optimum tyre performance. The strategy worked well in the clear air we found and we ended up with a good recovery of 21st position. The race 2 grid was set by the finishing position of the first race. That combined with a good first lap saw us up to 17th briefly before being taken out in an unfortunate incident after being in the wrong place at the wrong time. We attempted to finish the race and salvage some points after repairs but the engine let go only a few laps later. Currently sitting 28th in the standings with 8 rounds left. Round 3 is at the Red Bull Ring on the 29th of June.
