Dont know about moving game data, but you cant choose which update to use. It goes directly from 1.00 to 1.02
Might need to format the storage device properly...I'll have a crack in a few hours when I'm at home.
I believe you can only transfer game data from console to console via a LAN line connected directly between each other. You can store game data in Playstation plus but I don't know how you'd go giving it to someone else. I could not find any way to transfer 'game data' to a USB.
If it comes to it Lee. I'm sure if and when they bring back the community function, I.E. gifting options, you would have no trouble in us gifting you a few cars. I know I would as I said to Serg before he FINALLY got his copy. If you get stuck and need a car or two, give me a bell and I;d be happy to help, as I'm sure others would too..........
Yep, sorry Lee. No go with that idea. Fingers crossed for the gifting, although with the bonus system back. Get to 200% and do some seasonals as per GT5. Also save up the Red Bull Challange, etc, till you're at 200%.
Ok. I've got a question. I havent been able to get on for a while now and am still on Ver 1.01. If next time I put the game on I dont log in and update, buy the m4's, delete the data and run the glitch then update to 1.02, will that work?????????
Thats the thing. I still have 1.01. I havent yet updated to 1.02 yet. havent been on the game since before that patch was released.
It should work if you buy the M4's in V1.01, delete the game data and load up V1.00. But you'll only have one chance to do it. Hope you have enough credits to buy a few M4's.
Should work I done my last hack the day after the .2 release bought the cars without updating, then deleted the .1 patch done the sells/buys, and when I went to update it just updated to the .2 patch, so you will be fine.
Did it on Saturday night and yes it worked. Just bought/sold 12 m4's and built up 60 Mill worth of classics to sell later on and 20 mill in the bank.
